ESEG Day brings high school students closer to the university experience.

On the day September 12, 2026, ESEG College, Etapa Group, held the first edition of ESEG Day, This event was created to bring high school students closer to the world of higher education.

Throughout the day, participants were able to learn about the institution's structure, talk to teachers, coordinators, and students, and experience activities related to... Business Administration courses, Law, Economics, Computer Engineering, and Production Engineering.

More than just presenting the degree programs, the schedule was organized so that students could experience situations related to the different areas of study and close to the university routine.

During the event, the young people participated in lectures about careers, the future, the job market, and the unique aspects of ESEG, as well as practical activities that allowed them to learn more about the possibilities of working in each area.

At the time, the Undergraduate Q&A session It was also available to visitors. Students, parents, and teachers from participating schools were able to speak directly with ESEG coordinators, professors, and students to learn more about the courses and clarify doubts about university education and career opportunities.

The goal of bringing high school students closer to higher education was also particularly present in the practical activities. In different rooms, participants were able to experience a bit of the routine of each area, allowing for a more concrete connection with the courses.

“I participated in the mock jury trial and it was great. We learned a lot from the professors and students at ESEG. It was a very interesting exchange with them,” said the student.

Manuela also highlighted the opportunity to get to know the institution and participate in different experiences during the event. “It was so much fun participating in the extra activities and meeting new people. I enjoyed having the opportunity to get to know this institution. It was really great,” Manuela concluded.

In Computer Engineering, The participants found a room prepared for a hands-on experience with Arduino boards, cables, displays, and notebooks.

The activity, conducted by the ESEG professor, Filippo Valente Filho, The instructor challenged the students to develop a control station to monitor air quality in real time. The activities involved investment scenarios in the financial market and a simulation experience focused on decision-making in a business environment.

Students from ESEG also participated in the experience.

The connection promoted by ESEG Day wasn't limited to the institution and high school students. Students from the institution itself also participated. ESEG College They were invited to participate as monitors and assistants in the activities, contributing directly to the visitors' experience.

One of them was Guilherme Nunes, a law student. For him, the participation of ESEG students helped to make the contact with high school students even closer.

Guilherme observed that the students demonstrated curiosity even when they didn't necessarily intend to pursue a legal career. "Even those who didn't necessarily want to study law asked questions about law. Just to learn. So, this already demonstrates a natural curiosity among students who may be future students of ESEG," he commented.

Invited by the institution to participate as a monitor, Guilherme also highlighted the significance of being able to contribute to the event. “Participating in these activities means that my work as an academic within the university is being recognized and that I could contribute to the event in some way. So, that's very rewarding,” he noted.

The presence of ESEG students allowed visitors to interact not only with professors and coordinators, but also with those who experience the daily routine of the college.

Escape Room: one of the highlights of ESEG Day

In addition to course-related activities, ESEG Day included a program of extra experiences, such as Drone soccer, caricatures, 360º photos, prize booth, prize machine, and Escape Room.

Among the activities, the Escape Room was one of the most popular and praised by participants. In approximately 15 minutes, students had to unravel a sequence of clues related to ESEG College to complete the challenge, gaining knowledge about the institution's courses and practical learning in a relaxed way.

“I’m really loving the project, it’s an experience I didn’t expect to have. And I think it’s very important because we get to know areas that we might not have known before. It’s an incredible initiative,” said Julia.

Maria Eduarda also highlighted how the experience helped broaden her options. During the visit, she says she began to look at the Economics course with more interest.

“"I'm loving it because I, personally, hadn't given much thought to the courses offered here, but this visit has made me very interested in Economics. I think it's incredible!", said the student.

ESEG Day gains even more significance when the results are perceptible through the experiences reported by students such as Maria Eduarda, who highlighted the joy of participating in the experience and discovering new possibilities for the future.

“It was a really cool experience. We were very happy with this opportunity to meet new teachers, new people. We had some really great exchanges here. I just want to thank everyone at ESEG and everyone who made this day happen,” she highlighted.

A first step towards bringing prospective students closer to the college.
