Careers
Did you know that at ESEG College, students receive career guidance throughout their entire course?
This is achieved through the Career Development Center (CDC), one of the sectors within the Student Support area. The CDC aims to encourage students to discover their professional purpose and, from there, connect them to the job market, bringing them closer through the dissemination of job openings, the promotion of events that enable networking, and the development of actions to prepare them for participation in selection processes for private and public companies, as well as to become entrepreneurs. And this doesn't end when the student graduates: the work continues with alumni as well.
Offered to students with the aim of improving their academic performance throughout their time at ESEG College. This support includes assistance in adapting to higher education, social integration, study guidance, and time management through mentoring, with a focus on self-care and self-knowledge.
The Faculty provides its students and alumni with an exclusive employability platform: ESEG Careers. Focused on students' careers and purpose, the platform offers various support services for their professional journey, such as resume creation, job and opportunity searches, company profiles, and much more. Access to the platform can be obtained through this link: https://eseg-csm.symplicity.com
The CDC is responsible for managing non-mandatory internship contracts, from signing and monitoring the student's professional development to contract termination. The activities developed in these programs are evaluated by the coordinator of each course and serve as input for the submission of the mandatory internship.
This curricular component, required for course completion, takes place under the supervision of a professor responsible for monitoring the execution of tasks. The workload is defined in the curriculum of each degree program.
This event, promoted by the CDC, allows students to learn more about the job market, network, ask questions about specific careers, or even expand their professional opportunities. The event also includes lectures, workshops, and activities that help students better prepare for their professional future. It's a chance to broaden horizons, learn about different areas, and prepare for the next steps in their career path.
Students can participate in a mentoring cycle designed to develop motivations, manage decisions, and design an individualized career development path focused on their professional purpose, guided by self-knowledge.
This semester-long initiative aims to simulate selection processes for students, both in groups and individually. The activities mirror real-world models used by companies and recruitment agencies, allowing each participant to practice their presentation, participate in group dynamics, experience a selection process, and receive feedback on each stage.
