Scientific articles by Professor Renato Semmler will be published in an international journal.

Two scientific articles featuring Professor Renato Semmler, PhD in Nuclear Technology, will be published in the scientific journal Applied Radiation and Isotopes. The papers were submitted as part of an invitation to the ESEG professor to participate in an intercomparison study with several international laboratories.

The articles were accepted in August 2019 and will be published in December. The area of study is Nuclear Physics, with relevance to Nuclear Engineering, Computer Engineering, Scientific Computing, and Statistics.

Professor Semmler explains that the experimental part of the first study lasted three and a half years: "All members of the Nuclear Metrology group at IPEN actively participated in this study." Subsequently, the second article was finalized after a year, in collaboration with several research groups.
