Held on September 17th, the Career Fair 2026 It brought together students from ESEG College and representatives from about 15 companies in different sectors. Promoted in conjunction with Career Development Center (CDC), The event provided students with direct contact with the job market, as well as opportunities to expand their network and explore different career possibilities.
Companies such as 7D Analytics, AC Camargo Cancer Center, Ericsson, Farmarin, BP – Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo, Fundação Butantan, Across, IBM, Mercedes-Benz, Núcleo Engenharia Consultiva, Totvs, Stefanini, Prometeon, DPSP, Axians, and WallJobs participated in the Career Fair. The diversity of organizations provided students with contact with different sectors, corporate cultures, and professional opportunities.
The Career Fair is part of a series of initiatives promoted by ESEG College, of the Etapa Group, with the aim of stimulating the professional development of students and bridging the gap between academic training and the job market.
During the Career Fair, students were able to visit booths from companies of different sizes and sectors, including large corporations and multinationals. The experience allowed them to learn more about the organizations, speak directly with recruitment professionals, and identify internship and job opportunities.
Among the participants, Mercedes-Benz e IBM Their spaces were quite busy, with students showing great interest in the professional opportunities presented.
The diversity of companies present also broadened the students' understanding of the job market. Throughout the event, they were able to learn about organizations in the areas of technology, industry, health, consumer goods, services, and recruitment, among other sectors.
For companies, participation helps to expand brand presence among young talent and establish contact with potential candidates. For students, it represents an opportunity to showcase their soft and hard skills, learn about different organizational cultures, and better understand market demands.
“Here at ESEG, we prioritize our students' careers. We seek to develop students' leadership skills through events such as lectures, preparation for selection processes, and our Career Fair, where students have the opportunity to connect with large, multinational, and small companies,” highlights Simone Bortoletto, coordinator of the Career Development Center (CDC) and one of the event organizers.
For the third time participating in the Career Fair, the company 7D Analytics It also stood out for having been founded by graduates of ESEG College, opening doors for other students to feel comfortable taking their first career step in a company shaped by ESEG's values.
“I owe a lot to ESEG. We are here representing 7D Analytics, with some open positions and also with professionals who have been hired and who are ESEG alumni. They deliver a lot and perform very well. This is the third time we have participated and it is great to see the students' engagement, their desire to learn more about business and different sectors. Thank you very much to ESEG for all the support in our journey,” emphasizes Matheus de Sá Ferreira, a Production Engineering graduate from 2012 and one of the founders of the company 7D Analytics.
As part of the Career Fair week of activities, ESEG College held... Two lectures aimed at students on the Ana Rosa and Paraíso campuses., focusing on career path, professional identity building, and evolution.
The first lecture was conducted by Carlos Henrique Oliveira de Assis Junior, Technical Program Manager at Google and graduate of Production Engineering from ESEG. In a conversation about career choices, the guest shared experiences from his career path and reflections on lessons learned that contributed to his training and that continue to be present in his work routine.
The second lecture featured Fabio Paulo de Sousa, Head of HR and Human Resources executive at a large multinational bank, with over 25 years of experience in the field, especially in compensation and benefits.
In addition to reflecting on career growth processes and how companies view different aspects of professionals, Fábio addressed the relationship between potential and performance. According to the executive, companies may hire based on a professional's potential, but the deliverables achieved throughout their career are essential for their retention.
Also included in the week of activities, the Simulate ESEG It provided students with practical experience based on real-world work situations.
Over two days, participants learned tools and strategies for building a more attractive resume, through activities focused on critical thinking and self-assessment.
On the first day, Simone Bortoletto assisted students in creating personalized resumes, highlighting the importance of presenting relevant points in the initial contact between the candidate and the company. A demonstration of how to use LinkedIn was also given, with tips on posting, language, and job search filters.
On the second day, the students participated in a practical activity in which they simulated job interviews based on real job openings. The exercise allowed them to understand areas for improvement and develop a more appropriate approach during conversations with recruiters.
The ESEG Career Fair Week reinforces the role of the Career Development Center (CDC) in the academic and professional training of students. More than just a one-off event, the initiative is part of a preparation journey that brings students closer to companies, professionals, and situations present in the job market.
Held annually, the Career Fair grows with each edition and expands the possibilities for students to connect with different sectors, companies, and professionals, helping them to be better prepared for the next steps in their professional careers.
