Business Administration graduates participate in the 34th ENANGRAD.

Four graduates from ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa had the opportunity to present their scientific articles, based on their final course projects, at the 34th edition of the National Meeting of Undergraduate Courses in Administration (ENANGRAD), considered one of the largest undergraduate events in the field in Latin America.

The event took place between November 3rd and 5th and featured both in-person and online scientific sessions, providing the best possible experience for participants.

Encouraged by their professors, the graduates submitted the following works:

Henrique Fonseca (supervised by Professor Melissa Schleich): “"Study of the application of the Kanitz insolvency model in companies in the residential construction sector.". 

Gabrielly Mendonça (supervised by Prof. Tobias Coutinho): “"The role of Human Resources and the maintenance of home office work after the COVID-19 pandemic.".

Leonardo Justino (supervised by Prof. Filippe Delarissa Barros): “"The challenges of implementing a gamification project.".

Pedro Henrique Ribeiro (supervised by Prof. Filippe Delarissa Barros): “"Using people analytics in strategic human resource management: a systematic review of adopted metrics.".

Henrique's work was awarded best article in the Finance field. For the student, participating in the initiative was a great personal and professional achievement, especially being recognized with the award. "I like to say that ESEG presents many challenges during the course, but it also provides all the structure and support so that the student can overcome them in the best possible way, without a doubt. Without the support of my professors and ESEG, the whole process would be much more difficult," he emphasized.

Leonardo was also one of the participating students and was thrilled with the presentation of his first paper at one of the largest Management conferences in Latin America. “During the event, I was able to share and discuss the process of implementing gamification and its challenges. Through these discussions, I gained some insights into ways to continue and improve my research,” he said.

For the student, ESEG was fundamental in his academic and professional development, making it possible to put the knowledge gained during his undergraduate studies into practice in his daily work as a marketing specialist in a multinational pharmaceutical biotechnology company. “I am grateful to professors Filippe Barros and Tobias Coutinho, as they were fundamental in the development process of this article. I also thank the coordinator José Guilherme, who supported us with the event registration and was available at all times during this journey,” Leonardo highlighted.
