Welcome event for new students showcases services, opportunities, and experiences of academic life at ESEG.

On August 10th, ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, held a welcome event for new students in both the day and evening programs, welcoming them and presenting the main sectors, services, and opportunities available throughout their undergraduate studies.

The meeting also included the participation of senior students, who shared experiences and tips about the academic journey.

During the programming, Luiz Neves, Academic Projects Coordinator, This reinforced ESEG's commitment to academic excellence and bridging the gap between university education and the job market.

Among the initiatives presented were lectures, extracurricular activities, and projects such as... ESEG Tech & Business, which expose students to current topics and professionals from different fields.

The Careers department was also present at the reception. The department coordinator, Simone Bortoletto, presented the individualized work done with each student, from the development of soft skills to preparation for selection processes.

Internationalization broadens students' experiences.

One of the highlights of the reception was the presentation of internationalization opportunities offered by ESEG.

Vanessa Martins, manager of ESEG International, He explained to the students the possibilities of mobility in partner institutions and also of experiencing international experiences without necessarily leaving Brazil.

Among the initiatives presented are contact with exchange students who spend a semester at ESEG, participation in activities with visiting professors, and even contact with international speakers, such as the professionals who are part of the program of... ESEG Tech Summit.

The multicultural experience is also present in the Buddy project, which promotes the welcoming of exchange students, creating opportunities for the exchange of experiences, languages, and different cultural perspectives.

For the students, these experiences represent a way to broaden their worldview and, at the same time, learn more about their own culture.

The reception also included the participation of alumni, who presented their journeys and shared advice for those starting their undergraduate studies.

Catarina Borges and Mariah Eduarda, students of ESEG Law, They spoke about their experiences during their undergraduate studies and highlighted the internationalization opportunities offered by the institution.

Mariah shared her experience with the elective courses in English and how participating in the program contributed to her education. According to her, in addition to improving her language skills, the initiative allowed her to have an international experience without having to leave Brazil. Therefore, she encouraged the freshmen to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the institution.

Student Catarina highlighted that participation in international activities can serve as preparation for a future exchange program, allowing students to have initial contact with different customs and ways of thinking even before experiencing life abroad.

Kaiky Dias, student of Economics at ESEG College, Kaiky highlighted the importance of taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the institution. “One piece of advice I have is: go for it, take advantage of all the opportunities that ESEG offers and the close relationships with the professors. The connections and networking open up many opportunities in the market,” he stated.

The student also spoke about the experience of participating in the organization and mediation of academic initiatives, such as... ESEG Macro, which brought together economists Gustavo Sung and Marcelo Toledo to discuss economic prospects for Brazil and the world.

Vitor Neri, also an Economics student, shared his experience as a transfer student. According to him, after experiencing an academic environment at another institution that did not meet his expectations, he found a welcoming atmosphere at ESEG. “Throughout college, many challenges will arise. But don't give up. Study and continue to dedicate yourself, because the result is well worth it,” he emphasized.

Luis Gustavo Matias dos Santos, a first-year law student, highlighted the attention he received from his first contact with the institution and the importance of learning about the different services and opportunities offered by ESEG.
