Lecture prepares professionals for the job market in China with tips on resumes and cultural awareness.

A ESEG – Etapa Group College promoted on Tuesday, the 9th, the online lecture How to present yourself to Chinese companies. The event took place in partnership with IEST Group and was led by the speakers Simone Bortoletto, Coordinator of the Career Development Center of ESEG, and Vanilza Marqui, Recruitment and Selection Supervisor at IEST

The event addressed various topics related to the proper way to present oneself in selection processes for Chinese companies and sought to prepare candidates for opportunities in the international job market. The focus was practical and geared towards optimizing presentations for the...  6th Chinese Companies Recruitment Fair, which will be hosted by ESEG on Saturday, April 13th.

Simone He offered practical tips for resume writing and presentation. He also discussed Chinese employment culture and how it differs from Brazilian employment culture. “"THE "The highlight was discussing the culture and what they look for in candidates, as well as talking about an incredible method for structuring answers that make a bigger difference in selection processes," explained the career strategist.”We had a lot of interaction when discussing curriculum structure and how to maximize results,” he added.

A Guidance on resumes and conversations about culture and behavior were the highlights for Vanilza. For her, it's essential to understand how to humanize and personalize a resume to bring out the candidate's essence, especially in the age of AI.  The expert also believes that the event could have considerable impacts: “"After the guidelines for a well-aligned, strategically structured resume, it's important to consider behavioral tips for interviews and to search for companies whose values align with those of the candidate. I hope and wish the participants success!", he wished.

The result was positive for the audience, too. Rafael Luzardi, An engineering analyst believes she understands the expectations of Chinese companies better after the lecture. Interested in working in China, she explains that she studies Mandarin and has knowledge of the country's culture and innovations, but still wanted more context about the job market.

“"The lecture cleared up many doubts about what steps I should take to prepare myself in the best possible way – for when an opportunity arises to work for a Chinese company, for example."The eventThis further motivated me to continue improving my language skills, and the tips about the culture and how the Chinese view business were also very important. Finally, moments like this lecture are a great opportunity to establish more professional connections,” Rafael highlighted.

For those who wish to enter or continue in the Chinese market, Vanilza offers some advice:“"Try to learn about Chinese culture, research Chinese investments in Brazil, and if you have the opportunity, study and learn Mandarin and English.".
