ESEG Simulation Workshop brings students closer to the market.

On May 19th and 20th, ESEG students were able to improve their skills in the search for the best job opportunities with the ESEG Simulation: How to impress recruiters.

Simone Bortoletto, coordinator of the Career Development Center (CDC), spoke to the students about posture, communication, preparation for selection processes, and the importance of good networking, especially at the beginning of their careers.

Simone gave a lesson full of valuable information and tips about resumes, platforms like LinkedIn and job search websites, and explained how to use Artificial Intelligence to the candidate's advantage, the most important keywords, and how to present oneself with the right words when creating a good resume.

In addition to the theoretical part, the students participated in a dynamic activity proposed by Simone, the Winning Dynamic: skills that impress recruiters, which demonstrated collaboration, creativity, time management, and adaptation to processes and companies. Each participant could answer randomly selected questions and receive feedback from their peers.

Student Victor Rannier, from Production Engineering, said that the event was extremely important for thinking about the job market going forward: “In these two days we learned how to create an impressive resume, how to use AI to our advantage, and thus, reach recruiters and land our dream job,” said Victor.

For Marcos de Jesus Cruz, Simula is a type of workshop that gives students more confidence when applying for a job. "Besides the practical part we had with simulated interviews, knowing how to create a good resume gives us more confidence to perform well in selection processes," said Marcos.

The Career Development Center is a fundamental part of the academic training at ESEG College, which is always seeking the best strategies to help its students stand out in the national and international market.
