Nestor Felpi, Supply Chain Director at Natura, commented on the changes brought about by Logistics 4.0 in corporations.
Last July 26th, Nestor Felpi, Supply Chain Director at Natura, gave a keynote lecture to Production Engineering and Business Administration students at ESEG. An industrial engineer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, with 20 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing and Manufacturing, Nestor presented the lecture “Logistics 4.0”.
“The adoption of processes such as the HUB project, a product distribution center, impacts the reduction of the necessary workforce and the elimination of external warehousing,” Nestor stated regarding the case of implementing new logistics systems at Natura.

For him, talking about Supply Chain and new logistics management models to students has a special appeal, as it's an opportunity to clarify questions about a growing field that absorbs many engineers and administrators. "The next steps involve Big Data coupled with Artificial Intelligence, and there will be room for qualified professionals in these areas," he concluded.
