The first meeting of the Global Business Experience 2025 brings together students from various continents.

On March 1st, the first meeting took place. Global Business Experience 2025, an international academic exchange program promoted in partnership with institutions from three continents: Europe, America, and Asia. The initial virtual meeting included the participation of students and professors from countries such as China, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Brazil, represented by students and faculty from ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group.  

The project involves international collaboration between students, guided by mentor professors from each institution, to develop business alternatives that address challenges posed by companies. This year, the program will take place at Wuhan University of Science and Technology in China, with in-person activities in May.

Professor Lisa Liu, who is in charge of the program at Wuhan University He welcomed everyone and commented on the organization of the activities, inviting the student hosts to introduce the companies participating in the project and the groups already formed initially.

Students participating in the Global Business Experience also had the opportunity to learn about the challenges, meet their peers, and explore the companies involved in the initiative. From now on, student groups will meet periodically remotely to discuss proposals and develop a... country-briefing about China and understanding the operating segment of each participating company in this context, as well as comparing what it represents in other countries, for those challenges that propose market expansion.

Six Chinese companies will participate, hosting the students to work in their businesses. Representing Brazil and ESEG College, Professor José Guilherme will accompany the students throughout the project, guiding them through the activities and challenges.

The challenges presented to the students are diverse. There are companies interested in solutions for cost-effectiveness, opening markets in other countries, meeting customer expectations, brand positioning, type of communication, among others.

As part of the program, students will have a week of cultural immersion, visiting several important cities in China, such as Shanghai, Beijing, and Xi'an. Following this, they will participate in academic activities at the institution. Wuhan University of Applied Sciences & Technology. To conclude what promises to be an unforgettable experience, students will also have the opportunity to visit the cities of Hong Kong and Macau.
