ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, will hold an event on May 7th (Thursday). 1st Symposium on Digital Resilience: Foundations for Strategic Regulation. The meeting, in partnership with Dias Rizzo Sociedade de Advogados and CW3 Consultoria, will bring together leading figures in Law and Technology, as well as representatives from strategic sectors, to discuss the construction of a regulatory framework capable of addressing the vulnerabilities of the Brazilian digital environment.

The event, in its first edition, emerges at a time of global transition, where the concept of digital resilience is increasingly seen as a systemic capability that goes beyond traditional cybersecurity. It aims to bring together experts from different fields, representatives from the public and private sectors, legal and technology professionals, academics, and regulators to reflect on possible paths to the institutionalization of digital resilience in Brazil. The focus is on the ability of institutions to prevent, withstand, and recover from incidents, ensuring the continuity of essential services to society.

Panels and Themes

The symposium will be structured into three main panels, addressing different themes.

Panel 1Focused on building the concept of digital resilience adapted to the national reality, mediated by Valdir Assef Junior (FEBRABAN), with the participation of Márcia Mônica Nogueira Mendes, federal criminal expert, and Richard Gantus Encinas (CyberGaeco/MPSP).

Panel 2This will analyze the global and national regulatory landscape, including the National Information Security Policy and Bill 4752/2025. The panel will include lawyer Juliana Abrusio and advisor to the Ministry of Justice, João Paulo Orsini Martinelli, with moderation by ESEG law professor Amanda Scalisse Silva.

Panel 3This will be a debate about the pressures on strategic sectors and the need for a systemic approach, moderated by Celso Poltronieri Neto (C3W Consult) and with the participation of Professor Dr. Cristina Godoy (USP/C4AI).

This first edition seeks reflections that contribute to the development of good institutional practices and to the strengthening of information security and fair competition in the Brazilian digital economy.

The event is open to the general public, with free registration, as well as students and teachers from ESEG, reinforcing the institution's commitment to training connected to the most complex trends in the contemporary market.
