ESEG – the Higher School of Engineering and Management – participated in ENEGEP, the largest Production Engineering congress in Brazil, from October 16th to 19th. The 2018 theme was "Production Engineering and its contributions to the development of Brazil". ESEG presented the work "Sigma Capability for Continuous Data: a case study in an American children's hospital", prepared by students Taís Ohtani and Beatriz Ohtani and professors Silvia Helena Boarin and Leila Keiko Canegusuco.
The National Meeting of Production Engineering is the largest Brazilian event in the field and has been held since 1981. Its objective is to bring together the academic community, researchers, professors, students, entrepreneurs, consultants, engineers, administrators, and other professionals to disseminate the technical and scientific output of the area. It is also a forum to discuss relevant issues in Production Engineering at the national level.
