In addition to experience and degrees, interpersonal skills are increasingly sought after by recruiters.

Always seeking to promote improvement and updating in the face of changes in the job market, ESEG will broadcast a virtual lecture on September 23rd at 6 PM. ‘'Soft Skills for professional success and college entrance exams'’. The online meeting will be led by Professor Marcelo Dias, coordinator of the undergraduate program at ESEG and author of the book "Dream, Study and Conquer".

The event is aimed at high school students, those preparing for university entrance exams, or anyone seeking to learn more about the importance of behavioral and socio-emotional skills for success in competitive exams and the corporate world, the so-called soft skills.

But what exactly are soft skills? Increasingly present in the professional world, interpersonal skills are widely used in job interviews, as candidates can demonstrate to their recruiters not only what is on their resume, but also how they interact with others and themselves in everyday situations. Some of the main skills are: communication, interpersonal relationships, teamwork, collaboration, persuasion, creativity, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
