Knowledge of rights and responsibilities is an essential tool for exercising citizenship. With this in mind, students in the course of... Law School of ESEG, Etapa Group, they developed a Citizenship Primer, with entries on legal topics presented in a clear and accessible way for the community.

This initiative is part of the work of Research and outreach developed by law students at ESEG., The project brings the knowledge produced in the classroom closer to the needs of society. It encourages students to research, interpret, and organize legal content, transforming concepts studied throughout their undergraduate studies into a source of information that can be consulted by different audiences.

Law beyond the classroom.

More than just an academic work, the Citizenship Handbook represents an opportunity for students to put into practice fundamental skills for legal training, such as... research, interpretation, argumentation, communication and application of knowledge.

The proposal also reinforces one of the characteristics of the Law program at ESEG Faculty: the integration between theory and practice. In developing the entries, students are invited to understand not only the content of legal norms and concepts, but also to reflect on their application and relevance in everyday life.
