ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa hosted, on April 13th, the  6th Chinese Companies Recruitment Fair, promoted by IEST Group, for the Confucius Institute at Unesp and by Brazilian Association of Chinese Companies (ABEC). The event had over 1,200 participants who were able to learn about the 335 job openings available at the 33 companies present, including names such as 99, Shein, Kway e TP-Link.

The main purpose of the fair was to present job opportunities for Brazilians interested in working for Chinese state-owned and private companies with a presence in the country. One of the event's objectives was to strengthen commercial relations and celebrate [them]. 50 years of diplomacy between China and Brazil.

The initiative also included speeches from authorities such as: Yu Peng, Consul General of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in São Paulo; Aldo Rebelo, Municipal Secretary of International Relations of São Paulo; Zhang Guanghua, president of the Brazilian Association of Chinese Companies (ABEC) and of the Bank of China (Brazil) Ltd.; and Luis Antonio Paulino, director of the Confucius Institute at Unesp.  

For the Prof. Dimas Ferreira, Academic director of ESEG, The action was of great importance to the students. “It was a pleasure to be involved in this initiative, which brought a rich exchange of networking opportunities between more than 30 Chinese companies and Chinese post-general authorities here in São Paulo. This demonstrates the importance of the event and the relevance of…” ESEG "Hosting the fair will provide our students with the opportunity to learn about other cultures, have direct contact with Chinese companies, and expand their employability," he emphasized.

The Production Engineering student from ESEG, Maria Eduarda Secchi Oda Moraes, [Name], participated in the activities and was able to broaden her range of career possibilities: “At the fair, I discovered companies in the engineering field that truly value their employees and national and international cultures. Furthermore, I was able to see many opportunities.”.

Promoting the fair in ESEG It emphasizes the institution's commitment to the internationalization of students' careers and culture. Throughout the week leading up to the event, the Faculty also promoted... aligned lectures The topic is designed to prepare students to maximize the success of their presentations to foreign companies.

“In ESEG, "We seek internationalization in a comprehensive and cross-cutting way: in teaching, in extracurricular activities, and also in the career development of our students. Hosting the job fair with Chinese companies was an example of integrated action where companies, careers, and internationalization go hand in hand," he explained. In addition to this initiative, the ESEG Throughout the school year, the school promotes various multinational events, in addition to offering optional English classes (fluency in which is essential) and exchange program opportunities.
