On September 28th, ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa took another step towards strengthening its internationalization pillar by holding a virtual lecture for students of the Master's program in Human Resources Management. UCEL (Universidad del Centro Latino Americano), located in Argentina. 

The event was led by Professor Dr. Adriana Restelo, coordinator of the master's program at UCEL (located in the city of Rosario), and involved 15 students and members of the UCEL academic staff. On this occasion, Dimas Ferreira, academic director of ESEG, was able to share insights on leadership and management with all participants.

This initiative is part of an academic collaboration mediated by the international offices of both universities, with the aim of enriching the academic and cultural repertoire of students, as well as promoting relevant discussions on management and leadership from a Brazilian perspective.

During the two-hour lecture, key themes for developing skills in human resource management were addressed, with a focus on leadership in a multicultural context. Among the topics discussed, the following stood out:

  • Leading teams in multicultural environments, exploring cultural differences and the need for leaders to adapt to diverse contexts;
  • The relationship between organizational structure and leadership, emphasizing how hierarchy and internal company organization directly impact team leadership;
  • Action plans for improving the organizational climate, highlighting strategic practices and policies that can be adopted to strengthen the performance of leaders;
  • Essential skills for Argentinian companies in 2027, discussing the skills professionals will need to develop to face future challenges in the Argentinian market.

Professor Vanessa Martins, responsible for ESEG's international sector, He highlighted the importance of this type of collaborative action: "Actions like this demonstrate the constant exchange of knowledge, with ESEG being part of a high-level learning community on a global scale," he emphasized.

The invitation was extended through Professor Vanessa's academic connection with UCEL, reinforcing the importance of partnerships to foster the exchange of knowledge between international institutions.

This collaboration reflects ESEG's commitment to providing its students with global experiences and preparing leaders to operate in an increasingly dynamic and interconnected environment.
