The 1st ESEG Chess Cup will take place on May 23rd.

ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, will hold an event on May 23rd. 1st ESEG Chess Cup, an initiative that combines competition and intellectual development in a single event.

More than just a game, chess is recognized for stimulating essential skills such as logical reasoning, concentration, planning, and decision-making—competencies that are increasingly valued in academia and the job market.

The competition, which will take place at the ESEG facilities, will be open to students, teachers, and staff, subject to prior registration.

Participants will compete for special prizes: the first-place winner will receive a trophy and medal, while second and third place winners will receive medals.

Beyond its competitive aspect, the Cup aims to stimulate integration within the ESEG community and encourage practices that contribute to the development of strategic skills.
