Representatives from the organizing company IEST Group and supporting brands IMMA, Sam's Club, Lark, and WallJobs were able to present their work, discussing the role of Human Resources in meeting the area's needs, the challenges of working directly with people, and the growth of HR, generating positive results for companies and employees.
Reinaldo Ma, a partner at IEST Group, emphasized the importance of partnership and the strategic role of HR in organizations, especially in a scenario of constant digital transformation. For Reinaldo, the connection between innovation and the international landscape is essential for new businesses: “It’s impossible to talk about HR without talking about China and artificial intelligence. These are topics that need to be on the radar of anyone thinking about the future of organizations.”
The first lecture of the day, “Behind the Scenes of Artificial Intelligence,” was led by Adriano de Marqui, a specialist with over 26 years of experience in technology and expertise in all phases of software engineering. For an hour, he presented practical case studies of AI applications in HR, discussed ethical challenges, and highlighted the strategic role of professionals in the digital age. It is fundamental that it works with humans, in a more human way,” Adriano emphasized.
The program continued with the lecture “From Operational HR to Strategic HR,” led by Fernando Battestin, coordinator of the MBA in HR Business Partner at ESEG College and a professional with 25 years of experience in Human Resources in companies of different sizes and sectors. For an hour, Fernando presented an in-depth view of the role of the Business Partner as an agent of organizational transformation, exploring their strategic role and elucidating how HR can transcend operational tasks and position itself as a key player in the evolution of organizations. “It was a remarkable event, really great. It was packed, full of HR people seeking knowledge,” Fernando highlighted.

ESEG professor Edison Feghali encouraged student participation so they could learn about the field of HR. “I was present with students from the Administration course at the HR Meeting Point, where the lectures addressed highly relevant topics for Human Resources professionals, such as Artificial Intelligence and strategic HR, sparking interest and reflection among the students. The students demonstrated satisfaction and gratitude for the opportunity, recognizing the value that this type of experience adds to their professional training. ESEG, once again, reinforces its commitment to going beyond academic training, promoting connections with market professionals and bringing experiences that enrich learning and broaden the vision of future administrators,” commented the professor.
The event concluded with a moment of gratitude, led by Lilian Rodrigues: “Our gratitude to the speakers, the partner companies, and each participant.
