The 22nd Business Communication Meeting will address the theme of Corporate Communication in Environmental Issues.

The event took place on Saturday (May 25th) at the Ana Rosa campus; communication strategies in the environmental field were discussed.

The 22nd edition of the Business Communication Meeting took place last Saturday (May 25th) at ESEG. Organized by students of the Production Engineering course and coordinated by Professor Karlene Campos, this semester's event had the theme "Corporate Communication in Environmental Issues".

The opening lecture was given by Professor Sandra Terciotti, PhD in Letters, who spoke about Communication, Sustainability, and Socio-environmental Responsibility. Following her, Professor Carlos Cerqueira, PhD in Organic Chemistry and specialist in the Environment, explained the concept of Greenwashing to those present, which refers to when companies promote discourses about products or services that supposedly comply with environmental protection, without actually having taken any real measures in that regard.

The event concluded with presentations of projects by ESEG students. This initiative helps students understand the practical applications of corporate communication strategies learned in the classroom.
