The Endless Forest project will contribute to the student's education, in addition to integrating the research centers of the Etapa Group Faculty.

ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa is launching the Endless Forest project, which aims to raise public awareness about the importance of Brazilian forests for the planet. Furthermore, the project seeks to identify ways to preserve and sustainably use natural resources based on a multidisciplinary approach and using both human and artificial intelligence.

The program integrates studies conducted by ESEG's development centers: Applied Creativity; Economics and Finance; Entrepreneurship; Artificial Intelligence and Robotics; Logistics; and Sustainability. It will also encourage the creation of new centers, such as in the area of Law.

“Initially, the Endless Forest project aims to include awareness-raising actions involving communication, for example. These activities should encompass the creation and maintenance of communication channels such as websites, social media, blogs, and other means,” explains Professor Marcelo Dias, coordinator of ESEG. Following these actions, the project will involve research, with the production and translation of relevant content; scientific articles; the organization of events; lectures; and the creation of the documentary “What would the world be like without forests?”.

The Endless Forest project aims to contribute to the students' education, integrating the work of the Centers. In addition to building a collaborative network for education, it also seeks to raise societal awareness about forest preservation. "We hope that the students participating in the centers and the program will develop their academic skills and awareness of the importance of environmental preservation," adds the professor.

Visual identity

The logo for the Endless Forest project represents the idea of an infinitely preserved forest, using the mathematical symbol.

“"It is worth highlighting that the preservation of Brazilian forests requires uniting knowledge from all areas of expertise, whether through human or artificial intelligence," explains Professor Marcelo Dias. "This understanding of conservation through multidisciplinary actions will be brought to our community through the different research centers.".

Partnerships

“"The final step of the project is to have the participation and collaboration of public and private companies concerned not only with the preservation of Brazilian forests, but also with quality education and the training of competent and ethical professionals," the professor states.
