Student wins full scholarship through ESEG entrance exam.

Imagine receiving a message informing you that you've won a full scholarship to the college you've always wanted? That's what happened to Diego de Almeida Silva, a current student in the Production Engineering course at ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa. 

Days after taking the ESEG entrance exam, Diego received a message informing him that he had been accepted with a 100% scholarship. When he heard the news, the student was suspicious. "I've never even won a bingo at a church fair, and now I win a scholarship? It had to be a joke," he joked. 

A brief conversation with the Candidate Support Center was all it took for him to realize it wasn't a joke, but rather recognition of his performance in the selection process. The good news was that he had won a full scholarship valid for the entire duration of the Production Engineering course at ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa. This benefit is awarded to candidates who excel in the selection process.

With a degree in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry, Diego is currently undergoing a career transition. Having worked in the healthcare field since his first degree, the student says he always had a greater affinity for the exact sciences and the financial area, but it was only recently that he decided to pursue serious professional training and change fields. 

While searching for a new course, she remembered ESEG and sought more information about the institution and its programs. “I looked into everything, from the teaching model and curriculum to internship opportunities, employability, and information on the website itself. Having learned that there would be a scholarship competition, I decided to apply, and today I study here,” she says. 

With the scholarship he received, the dream of a new career has become closer to reality. Diego says that without the full scholarship, he wouldn't be able to afford the costs of a university degree right now.

At ESEG, Diego believes he has found an ally in his new journey, capable of offering increased knowledge and support measures that he intends to enjoy throughout the course. And even having experience in academic life, today, for the first time, he feels excited and valued as a student. “"The teachers show concern for the students and treat us as participants in the learning process. Factors such as excellent infrastructure, new materials, location near the subway, and the kindness of the staff all add quality to the most important thing, which is teaching."”, he reports.

For those who are still going to take the university entrance exam, Diego assures that with dedication and patience it is possible to achieve a good result, even if there are momentary difficulties and success is not achieved on the first attempt. In this case, he emphasizes that the important thing is to analyze the situation and see what needs to be adjusted. “Much more than 'passing a test', the activity of studying should be a constant for those who want to stand out and thus contribute to the collective improvement of the world,‘ he concludes.
