A ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, is now accepting applications for the Global Business Experience 2026, the academic and cultural exchange program that will take place again in China, in partnership with Wuhan University of Science and Technology.
And to present the program, on October 9th, there was a chat with Elen Silva, Giovanna Paes de Arruda, and Pedro Miyanojara, participants from the last edition that took place in China. The students recounted their experiences and shared what they learned, emphasizing the personal and professional transformation that such an experience brings. The meeting also included the presence of the coordinator of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. José Guilherme Campos, responsible for accompanying the students on this journey.
“Experiencing China is quite unique, as the culture is very different. Being in a group during this experience is great because we feel safe,” explained student Giovanna. The program is a growth opportunity for the students, who have direct contact with representatives of the companies involved in the initiative. “The possibility of visiting companies, being received by Chinese Directors and CEOs doesn't happen so easily, and this program also makes that possible,” added Professor José Guilherme.
The initiative offers students the opportunity to experience the global business environment, combining theory, practice, and international experience through the exchange of experiences with students, professors, and professionals from Europe, America, and Asia.
The project promotes collaboration between Brazilian and international students in the search for innovative solutions to real challenges faced by partner companies, with guidance from mentor professors from the participating institutions. During the program, participants put their knowledge into practice and develop essential skills for the global market.
The Global Business Experience is divided into two stages: an online phase, starting in March 2026, and an in-person phase, with a trip to China between May 17 and 30, 2026. During the online phase, students will meet international colleagues and begin developing projects with participating companies. In the in-person phase, they will experience 15 days of cultural and academic immersion, with visits to tourist attractions such as the Great Wall, Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, in addition to a week of academic and professional activities in the Wuhan University region.
