ESEG's men's futsal team advances to the next phase of the championship.

Under the leadership of coach Allan Pires and assistant coach Alison Pires, the team secured a 2-1 victory against the USP Information Systems team.

Last Saturday (April 30, 2022), the ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa men's futsal team achieved another victory in the NDU (Novo Desporto Universitário) championship, advancing to the next phase of the competition. The match took place at the “Idalina” Gymnasium in São Caetano do Sul against the team from the Information Systems course at USP. The final score was 2-1.

According to Allan Pires, the team's coach, the match started evenly, with good marking from both teams. But it was the ESEG team that opened the scoring midway through the first half with an individual play. The team maintained the advantage during the second half, having more freedom with counter-attacks in their favor, soon securing the second goal.

With five minutes remaining in the match, the opponents managed to score a goal, making the game even more intense. In the end, ESEG maintained its lead: "We defended very well, controlled the game, and secured another victory," reports Allan.

The next match is scheduled for next Saturday, May 7th, against the team from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo.
