ESEG students present their work at Engema 2018.

The scientific initiation group formed by students Gabriel Gaboardi, Isabela Carneiro, Larissa Martins, and Thamires Amorim participated in the 2018 edition of the International Meeting on Business Management and the Environment. The article presented is entitled “Forest Certification 'FSC – Forest Stewardship Council' and Quality Certification 'ISO 9001': Characteristics of Implementation in Brazilian Companies in the Graphic and Paper Sector‘. Professor Silvia Boarin, coordinator of ESEG, guided the students at the event, which took place on December 3rd, 4th, and 5th at FEA-USP.

Engema is an annual meeting that brings together researchers, professors, and students, as well as professionals from public and private organizations, interested in discussing trends in organizational sustainability management. Encouraging scientific initiation projects, as well as other initiatives focused on environmental protection, is a constant at ESEG. Student participation reinforces the institution's commitment to training professionals capable of acting with environmental responsibility.
