A ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, It continues to expand its international reach through initiatives that strengthen academic cooperation and the exchange of knowledge between educational institutions in different countries. As part of Academic Mobility Program From ESEG, Professor Leonardo Quintiliano represented the institution on an academic and institutional agenda in Spain, notably including visits and meetings at the prestigious University of Salamanca.

Founded in 1218, the University of Salamanca is recognized as one of the oldest in the world and one of the most prestigious in Europe. During the visit, Professor Leonardo Quintiliano presented the academic projects developed by ESEG and formalized the institution's interest in establishing an international cooperation agreement with the Spanish university.

Academic cooperation between countries

The proposal includes initiatives focused on the exchange of students and researchers, the organization of international conferences, and the development of joint courses, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence, digital governance, innovation, and technological regulation.

The program included meetings with representatives from the Center for Brazilian Studies, chaired by Professor José Manuel Santos Pérez, as well as meetings with members of the General Foundation of the University of Salamanca. A meeting was also held with Professor Ignacio Berdugo, during which opportunities for academic cooperation, researcher exchanges, the organization of scientific events, and the development of joint programs between the institutions were discussed.

Another highlight of the agenda was the formal invitation to give a keynote lecture at ESEG, reinforcing the mutual interest in strengthening academic ties and promoting initiatives with international impact.

A promising future of partnerships

According to Professor Leonardo Quintiliano, the meetings were marked by receptiveness to the proposals presented by ESEG and by interest in establishing a long-term partnership. “It was very important to be in contact with authorities from the University of Salamanca and to be able to convey the image of serious new projects from Brazil, such as ESEG, because major European centers are also interested in engaging with other projects from Brazilian public and private institutions.” The professor also emphasizes: “This rapprochement is fundamental for greater integration between countries and their institutions,” explains Leonardo.

The next step will be to detail the academic activities and build joint projects, with the possibility of implementing shared courses and initiatives as early as 2026.

ESEG's participation in faculty mobility programs reinforces the institution's commitment to the internationalization of higher education, providing new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and academic development for students, professors, and researchers.
