Students Gabriel das Virgens Guimarães, Jairo Menezes de Almeida Junior, João Pedro Lucarelli Amadei e Silva, and Renê Camargo Neves Santos, all in their 6th semester of the Business Administration course, had an article accepted at the National Meeting of Production Engineering – ENEGEP, held from October 17th to 20th in Fortaleza, Ceará.
The study entitled “SDG 7: An integrative literature review on its application in the corporate environment” was developed within the Socio-environmental Management and Sustainability course and was co-authored and supervised by Professor Ana Carolina Russo.
One of the students, João Pedro Lucarelli, spoke about the opportunity to represent ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa and his colleagues at the meeting. “It was an incredible experience to participate in ENEGEP 2023 and present an integrative literature review on SDG 7 applied to the corporate environment. I thank the co-authors and ESEG for their fundamental support. The presentation highlighted our commitment to research, and I am certain that this experience will contribute significantly to our professional growth,” said Lucarelli.
The article analyzed Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7, which addresses clean and affordable energy in a corporate context. The results highlighted the importance of affordable energy, linking it to the reduction of poverty, social inequality, and health problems. According to the students, investing in renewable energy and implementing effective policies are essential to achieving SDG 7. The research also emphasized the need for cooperation between governments, businesses, and civil society, as well as favorable fiscal policies and financial incentives.
Congratulations to the students on their achievement, as well as to Professor Ana Carolina Russo and the coordinator of the Administration course, Professor José Guilherme Campos.
