The 2nd Finance & Investment Olympics, in partnership with BTG Pactual, challenges high school students to transform knowledge into strategy.

High school students across Brazil can now prepare for the 2nd Finance & Investment Olympics, promoted by ESEG College, from Grupo Etapa, in partnership with BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank in Latin America.

To the registrations happens September 8 to 27, 2026 and the competition will be carried out between September 28 and December 12, when will the grand final take place in person at ESEG College in São Paulo.

Aimed at students in grade 11st, 2nd and 3rd years of high school in public and private schools, The Olympics offers an experience that combines finance, investment, strategy, and decision-making. teams of 3 to 5 students from the same school, Participants will face challenges in a game format and will have the opportunity to develop skills that can become a differentiating factor in their academic and professional training.

More than a competition, the initiative brings young people closer to practical situations and a universe that is increasingly relevant for those who wish to understand the business world. Throughout the journey, students will have contact with financial education and investment content, as well as a training track, classes, mentoring, the FinSim platform, and a certificate of participation.

How does the Olympics work?

The competition will be held in four stages, combining online challenges and an in-person final:

• Ranking quiz: from September 28th to October 9th;
• Investment Scenarios: From October 12th to November 19th;
• Case: From November 24th to December 10th;
• Final Panel: December 12th, in person at ESEG College, in São Paulo.

The students themselves form their teams, with 3 to 5 members from the same school. However, registration is done by the school, through the academic supervisor, and there is no limit to the number of teams per institution.

An experience that goes beyond competition.

Throughout the challenges, students are invited to analyze information, evaluate scenarios, build strategies, and make decisions. The goal is... transform knowledge related to finance and investments in a practical experience e collaborative.

Therefore, the Olympiad contributes to the development of skills such as analytical reasoning, strategic vision, decision-making, and teamwork—skills that are relevant both for academic careers and future professional endeavors.

In addition to the competition, all participants will have access to an exclusive training track, with content on financial education and investments, as well as the FinSim platform and classes and mentoring with experts in the financial market.

Awards

The five finalist groups will participate in an in-person judging panel at the ESEG Faculty and will compete for experiences and prizes, including an immersion program. BTG Pactual.

To the three best-ranked teams also compete for undergraduate scholarships at ESEG College, ...in accordance with the conditions established in the regulations. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Who can participate?

The 2nd Finance & Investment Olympics is aimed at students regularly enrolled in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of high school, from public or private schools throughout Brazil.

Students enrolled in high school and technical education programs, in concurrent, parallel, or integrated modalities, may also participate.

How do I register?

Interested students should form a team of 3 to 5 students from the same school and contact the coordinator or the responsible teacher at their educational institution to register.
