Data Security (“Policy”) to inform you, “Student”, “User” and/or “Visitor” and/or your guardian, about what information is collected from you, how it is processed, in what situations it is shared and when it is deleted, as well as your rights under applicable laws, in particular Law No. 13.709/2018 (“General Data Protection Law” – LGPD).

You, the ETAPA Student, User and/or Visitor, and your legal guardian, freely, expressly and informedly consent to ETAPA and its partners using the collected information for advertising purposes, as well as for the proper provision of services by ETAPA, in accordance with the provisions of Laws No. 12.965/14 and 13.709/2018.

You – Student, User or Visitor – and your guardian agree and allow ETAPA and its partners to access your information from your registration and access to the website or other ETAPA platform, expressing free, explicit and informed consent, under the terms of article 43 of the Consumer Protection Code and for the purposes of Laws No. 12.965/14, 13.709/2018 and 15.211/2025.

2.7. Furthermore, it is important to note that the ETAPA website or other platforms may contain links to other pages, including those of partners, which have Privacy Policies with provisions different from those set forth in this ETAPA Policy. 2.9. ETAPA is not responsible for the veracity, accuracy, or inconsistency of information provided by you – Student, User, or Visitor, or your guardian. If this data is not up-to-date, ETAPA recommends that you – Student, User, and/or Visitor of ETAPA, contact your guardian, when applicable, through the appropriate channels to update your data.
3.1. ETAPA may also use some standard technologies to collect information about you – the ETAPA student, user, or visitor, or your guardian, such as cookies, pixel tags, beacons, and local shared objects, in order to improve your browsing experience.
3.2. You – the ETAPA student, user, and/or visitor – and your guardian may, at any time, block some of these technologies for automatic data collection. However, if this setting is implemented, some of the functions offered by ETAPA may cease to work properly.
4.1. ETAPA may share the collected data in the following situations:
a) with ETAPA's partner companies, for advertising purposes, as described in item “2.6”, above;
b) when necessary for ETAPA's business activities, such as for the purpose of receiving payments for purchased courses;
c) to protect ETAPA's interests in any type of conflict, including legal actions;

(“Meta”) to enable institutional, operational, academic, and administrative communications, notifications, authentications, support, and other interactions related to the services provided by the ETAPA Group.

The information provided by you – Student, User or Visitor of ETAPA, or by your guardian – will be stored by ETAPA on its own servers or those contracted by it nationally or internationally in the case of virtual media, and in suitable and secure spaces, in accordance with the law and best market practices in the case of physical documents.
5.2. ETAPA employs all reasonable market efforts to ensure the security of its systems in safeguarding said data, such as:
a) Use of standard and industry-leading methods to encrypt and anonymize the collected data;
b) Use of edge firewall and protection software to prevent unauthorized access to our systems;
c) Access authorization is granted only to pre-selected individuals to the locations where we store information;
d) Existence of internal policies for maintaining information security;
e) Internal infrastructure with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and generators to guarantee the availability of services provided. Regardless, external factors may impact any eventual unavailability;
f) Daily data backup routines, contingency plans, and disaster recovery procedures, in accordance with contracts with our suppliers, which follow international best practices; and
g) Entering into contracts with employees who have access to your information, aiming to establish the obligation to maintain absolute secrecy and confidentiality of the accessed data, under penalty of civil and criminal liability, in accordance with Brazilian law.
5.3. This Policy represents the ETAPA Educational Group's effort to safeguard your information. However, it is not possible to guarantee that malicious third parties will not succeed in improperly accessing information obtained by the ETAPA Group.
6.1 Through the channels indicated in this Policy, the holder of personal data, you – Student, User or Visitor of ETAPA, are entitled, when accompanied by your guardian in the case of minors:
6.2. Requests related to personal data must be submitted in writing by the data subject themselves, accompanied by their legal representative, when applicable, through ETAPA's official communication channels.
6.3. As a security measure, in order to ensure that your personal data is not disclosed to unauthorized third parties, ETAPA may request additional information to confirm the applicant's identity. Requests will be processed within timeframes compatible with the actions requested.
7.1 The processing of personal data of children and adolescents within the scope of our digital educational services and platforms observes the principle of full protection and the best interests of the child.
8.1. Acceptance of this Policy by the Student and the guardian will occur when they click the “I have read and agree” button when registering with ETAPA, and, in the case of the Visitor, when browsing and using the website or other ETAPA platforms.
8.2. If you – the student, user, or visitor of ETAPA, or your guardian – do not agree with this Policy, we recommend that you do not proceed with registration on ETAPA and/or refrain from accessing and using it.
8.3. Accessing, browsing, registering and/or using ETAPA is subject to the provisions contained in the Terms of Use, together with this Policy.
8.4. Failure to accept this Policy by you – the Student, User or Visitor of ETAPA, and/or your guardian – may result in the inaccessibility of certain information and resources.
