ESEG College Students

O Business Administration course ESEG is part of the landscape of leading institutions for business education in São Paulo, alongside well-known names in higher education such as FGV, Insper, and ESPM.

The curriculum covers finance, marketing, human resource management, strategic planning, and logistics. The practical differentiator is the combination with a certified Data Science track and the study of Artificial Intelligence, which gives graduates a concrete argument in selection processes.

Business administration offers a wide range of career paths: companies of all sizes, consulting firms, startups, or independent businesses. It's the course with the most diverse career options on the market, which is an advantage for those who aren't yet sure which sector to choose but already know they want to manage.

Profile that usually performs well in Administration.

Those who enjoy solving concrete problems, working with people, and making decisions based on numbers.

If you see yourself managing a team, planning processes, or analyzing campaign results, this course is a good fit.

Law: curriculum focused on contemporary legal practice

The course of ESEG Law It was authorized in 2019 by the Ministry of Education. The curriculum includes traditional subjects such as Constitutional, Civil, Criminal, and Labor Law, and adds entrepreneurship, process management, and mediation techniques.

It's not just for show: mediation and conciliation are increasingly demanded in offices and companies.

From the beginning of the course, ESEG encourages scientific initiation with research centers in each area of Law. In practice, this means that the student arrives at the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) with more than just code reading: they arrive with a project and a publication.

Anyone who has participated in the Lawtech hackathons organized by the college knows how valuable that is on a resume.

What do you learn in a law degree?

Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law, Business Law, Digital Law (with approaches in Artificial Intelligence), and International Law, among other disciplines.

Mock trials, visits to consumer protection agencies and the Court of Justice are part of the routine, among other institutions relevant to this career; these are not one-off events, they are part of the academic routine.

Economics: market analysis, data and international training

A Bachelor's degree in Economics The ESEG program was authorized in 2019. The course has Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and Corporate Finance as core subjects, in addition to a certified Data Science track integrated into the curriculum.

One detail that few people know: corporate English is part of the curriculum from the first semester. It's not optional. This makes sense when you see where economists graduating from ESEG end up: banks, consulting firms, international organizations.

For those who want to work at the IMF or the World Bank, having this component in the curriculum from the start makes a difference.

Where can an economist who graduated from ESEG work?

The financial sector (banks, brokerage firms, investment managers), economic consultancies, government agencies, NGOs, and organizations such as the World Bank and the IMF.

In recent years, fintechs and data-intensive technology companies have also started hiring economists frequently.

Computer Engineering: AI, digital security, and a deficit market.

Authorized by the MEC in 2017, the Computer Engineering course ESEG covers hardware, software, networks, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital security.

Students have access to the LIA (Artificial Intelligence Laboratory) and the LITE (Technological Innovation Laboratory), which are also open to all courses at the college.

Brazil still has a shortage of technology professionals. Those who graduate with a certified Data Science track and experience in applied AI enter the job market with a head start.

The most common career paths for ESEG computer engineers are: software development, data analysis, information security, and digital transformation projects in medium and large-sized companies.

Profile that typically performs well in Computer Engineering

Those who are analytical, enjoy solving problems at the technical level, and are curious about technology at both the software and hardware levels.

If you want to research applied AI or lead an innovation project, the course is structured for that.

Production Engineering: industrial efficiency, logistics and management

A Production Engineering It is one of the oldest courses at ESEG. The program combines calculus, physics, and statistics with production planning and control, logistics, quality management, operations research, and industrial process simulation.

Production engineers work at the interface between operations and management, which, in practice, means they are sought after by industries, consulting firms, startups, and technology companies alike.

ESEG alumni are working at General Electric (USA) and Mercedes-Benz (Germany). With Industry 4.0 and the growing demand for sustainability projects (ESEG already has a Production Engineering track focused on ESG), the market for this profile remains strong.

Why choose Production Engineering at ESEG?

Integrated projects with real companies, professors working in the market, and modern laboratories.

And the track record speaks for itself: a high employability rate among graduates.

What does ESEG have that other colleges in São Paulo don't offer?

Some distinguishing features are worth mentioning because they are not generic. The ESEG International program has already taken students to institutions in Europe and the USA, with the Global Business Program, bringing together more than 50 students from different countries. This is networking that is difficult to build in a classroom.

The certified Data Science track is available for four majors (Business Administration, Economics, Computer Engineering, and Production Engineering). It's not a standalone course: students who complete and pass the corresponding subjects receive formal certification. For the selection process, it's an extra asset that fits on a resume.

There's also the ESEG Careers platform, with internship and job opportunities, company profiles, and support for selection processes. And, for those who already have a degree and want a second degree or are dissatisfied with their current university and want to change, ESEG offers an exclusive discount on the course.
