First-semester law students visit PROCON for practical activity.

Undergraduate students in Right from the ESEG – Etapa Group College They had the opportunity to participate in a visit to Procon – SP on June 13th. Accompanied by the teacher. During the visit, the students gained a better understanding of how Consumer Protection works in practice, making the concepts seen in class more concrete and tangible. Knowing the job market and best practices in the field of study is essential for the complete education of a university student.

The students then learned more about the enforcement of consumer laws, consumer education by Procon (Brazilian consumer protection agency), methods of inspection and administrative enforcement, the application of these legal instruments in social settings, principles of Consumer Law, and deepened their knowledge regarding the National Consumer Protection System.

According to Professor Alexandre, who teaches Consumer Law, "the visit served to complement the theoretical content taught in class, demonstrating its practical application.".
