ESEG promotes an International Mobility Program in partnership with the University of Coimbra.

Starting in the first semester of 2024, students at ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa will have the opportunity to study for a semester at the University of Coimbra, in Portugal, validating the chosen subjects with the curriculum of their ongoing course at the Faculty.

The agreement signed between ESEG and the University of Coimbra in 2021 allows students and professors to participate in academic exchanges in Portugal and conduct research in the areas of Engineering, Management, and Law in conjunction with Portuguese faculty and students.

With this extension of the agreement and through the ESEG International Mobility Program, carried out by ESEG International – the office that handles international study programs and opportunities – allows students to apply for an exchange program by taking courses related to their curriculum and continuing to pay only the monthly tuition at ESEG. 

In September 2023, applications will open for the Program in Coimbra, where students from the 4th semester onwards interested in academic mobility during our first semester of 2024 (January to June), which is equivalent to the second European semester, can participate. After an internal selection process, approved students may be nominated for mobility at the aforementioned institution. 

Currently, the University of Coimbra has around 25,000 students and more than 80 nationalities represented. In 2020, it was considered the best institution in Portugal and the only one in the world's top 20 (17th place) in meeting the Health and Well-being indicator of "The University Impact Rankings" by Times Higher Education. It is part of the Centre for World University Rankings of the 500 best universities in the world and is considered a top institution (five stars) by the QS Stars University Ratings.

To participate in the selection process, students can schedule an appointment with Professor Vanessa Martins, head of ESEG International, to understand all the application steps.
