ESEG graduates complete High Performance course and strengthen their journey as future leaders.

A professional's development doesn't end with graduation, and ESEG understands this. Attentive to market transformations and the importance of continuous training, the college offered the High-Performance Leadership course. With a class composed exclusively of alumni, the program concluded on November 8th, producing professionals ready to lead with distinction in increasingly dynamic and demanding corporate environments.

With in-person classes at the Paraíso campus, the course aimed to expand participants' knowledge of leadership and team management. Throughout a practical and intensive program between October and November, graduates participated in individual mentoring sessions, networking activities, and self-awareness exercises, in addition to developing projects with the support of recognized professionals in the market.

The program boasted an excellent faculty with solid market experience and distinguished academic backgrounds. The team consisted of:

– Cristiane Coelho, an executive with over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Training, and Market Intelligence, and current general manager of Knight Therapeutics, a Canadian multinational pharmaceutical company;
– Edgard Rodrigues, professor at ESEG and consultant in management and leadership, with a career marked by stints at Unilever, P&G, Promon, Maersk and IMS Health;
– Cristiane Chammas, professor and researcher in the areas of leadership, innovation, decision-making processes, consumer behavior, and neurodiversity, with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management.

With extensive experience in training high-performance professionals, Cristiane led the mentoring sessions and practical activities of the course, providing graduates with analyses of real-world cases on contemporary leadership. “Through this program, I was able to share my leadership experience with the class and also learn from them. I consider it a very important development initiative for all the incredible professionals who participated,’ commented the executive.

In order to guarantee a personalized and high-impact experience, the program had only 10 places, exclusively for ESEG graduates who already held leadership positions or were on an upward trajectory in their careers. The selection process was rigorous and divided into stages, including curriculum analysis and individual interviews, in which the basic skills for leadership development, professional trajectory, and motivations for participation were evaluated.

This selective approach allowed for the formation of an intimate and collaborative group, with complementary profiles and a high level of engagement. This was the case for Maria Izabel Pequeneza, a Production Engineering graduate and Senior Performance Analyst at Quinto Andar, who seeks to reach leadership positions in her career. “The course was a very important opportunity for me to develop as a leader. Several interesting methodologies were presented, such as the types of leadership and biases that impact daily life, providing very enriching knowledge,” she stated.

For Luiz Felipe Rocha, also a Production Engineering graduate and Senior Operations Coordinator at Arco Educação, the experience provided valuable reunions and exchanges, allowing him to better understand the reality of the market also from the perspective of other colleagues. He also highlighted the quality of the faculty: “The course also makes a fantastic contribution due to the quorum of professors, who were great facilitators, with a lot of market experience, bringing highly applied content.”.

For Professor Edgard Rodrigues, it was a pleasure to be part of the course's faculty. "Welcoming our alumni back, now as leaders in their fields, is a source of pride. We were able to discuss advanced leadership topics and observe remarkable progress in all participants," the professor highlighted.

With the graduation of the first class of the program, the alumni received certificates of completion, marking another milestone in their professional careers.
