ESEG is hosting an open class for its Data Science course on August 18th.

The meeting will be online and open to students of the courses and other interested parties.

On August 18, 2021, at 7:10 PM, an open class of the Data Science course at ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa will be held, with the theme "Introduction to Machine Learning and its applications.".

One of the four modules of the course – which also includes Business and Design, Statistics and Modeling, and Programming with Python – Machine Learning is a data analysis technique that automates the construction of analytical models in a branch of artificial intelligence that is based on the idea that systems can learn from data.

The online class will be taught by Prof. Rodrigo Aquino, coordinator of the Computer Engineering course at ESEG and one of the professors of the Data Science course. Aquino holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2015) and a master's degree in machine learning from the University of São Paulo.
