Professor Marcelo Gonçalves's work receives awards at the ABAL Congress.

Dr. Marcelo Gonçalves was a highlight at the 8th International Congress promoted by the Brazilian Aluminum Association last week. The award for best work on the theme "New Product Development" was given to the project coordinated by the ESEG professor, with the participation of student Eliana Mitiko Katayose.

In the "Forming, Joining and Machining" category, the winning project was developed by Professor Gonçalves in conjunction with Embraer and IPT (Institute for Technological Research).
