The event was led by professors Edison Feghali, from the Economics department, and Henrique Mattos, from the Law department.
The "global crisis" factor was also addressed, caused by different fronts, such as wars, which directly affect the national economy, since one of the solutions for Brazil is to operate in the international market through the export of products grown in our lands.
The former minister also presented an overview of the current global scenario, highlighting how some countries face agricultural difficulties, such as adverse weather, lack of planning, and insufficient supply to meet the population's needs. It is precisely in these gaps that Brazil stands out as one of the world's largest agricultural powers and a leader in the export of various products, with an even more promising future.
The final part of the event featured a question-and-answer session with the students in attendance, helping to clarify doubts and engage the audience. Murilo de Paula, a Business Administration student, commented on his participation: “I don’t have a very good grasp of the area, but I had high expectations to hear more about agribusiness and everything that involves this topic. Having someone of such great relevance as Roberto makes everything more special.”.
