The company is a major producer of aluminum profiles for the aerospace and automotive industries.
On October 31st, ESEG students visited the Prolind factory in São José dos Campos. The plant, which manufactures aluminum parts and sells raw materials, holds ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certifications. According to ABAL (Brazilian Aluminum Association), Brazil is the 10th largest aluminum producer in the world, and the aluminum industry employs over 400,000 people directly and indirectly.
At ESEG, students are invited throughout their undergraduate studies to visit offices and production plants of various sizes and sectors. These initiatives aim to provide practical insight into the production and management routines of companies. During these visits, students can apply all the content taught in the classroom and deepen their knowledge of innovations in Brazilian industry.
