ESEG hosts the Galaxy AI Summit with Martha Gabriel.

Galaxy AI Summit, The event, promoted by Samsung, featured an inspiring lecture and practical demonstrations on Artificial Intelligence. A highlight of the program was the presence of... Martha Gabriel, an international leader in technology, innovation, and digital marketing.

Moderated by Computer Engineering professor Rodrigo Assirati, the meeting provided a space for a relaxed conversation between Martha Gabriel and Renato Citrini, senior product manager of the mobile devices division at Samsung Brazil. They shared their career paths and reflections on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on daily life and business. Among the topics discussed were the use of virtual assistants, the role of AI in healthcare, and the speed at which companies need to adapt to these changes.

Assirati highlighted the importance of Martha's presence at the event: “Martha Gabriel is someone who thinks very far ahead. When this surge in Artificial Intelligence emerged, she was one of the first voices to speak out about the challenges and potential brought by AI. Therefore, her presence at this event is a great asset for our students, especially considering the future that awaits them.”.

In her lecture, Martha reinforced the importance of understanding technology and developing critical thinking in the face of transformations. "AI transforms everything. It's a cognitive technology with the potential to enter almost every activity we do, which previously only our brains did," highlighted the specialist, who also emphasized to the students the importance of having critical thinking skills and understanding technology as it evolves.

Next, the audience watched a presentation by Rodrigo Nobre, a specialist in... Mobile User Experience From Samsung, which demonstrated the functionality of Galaxy AI on the brand's devices. Far beyond editing photos or answering questions, the AI showed its potential to support daily tasks such as travel planning, reservations, healthcare, and urban mobility.

The students also actively participated, suggesting examples of use and interacting with the tools presented, which generated enthusiasm and engagement. The event also featured a special moment: Samsung donated a Galaxy Tab S10 to ESEG College, and the institution chose to gift the device to a student. The draw was held during the event using Artificial Intelligence, and the winner was law student Vitor Alves de Carvalho, who couldn't hide his excitement: “The event was great, and I still can't believe I won. It was an incredible experience.”.

To conclude, attendees were able to experience Samsung products in an exclusive showroom and socialize over a special coffee break. The atmosphere of learning and innovation was also evident for Computer Engineering student Daniel Augusto: “This approach to Artificial Intelligence contributed to the development of my intellect, broadened my knowledge base, and can become a differentiating factor for my studies, especially in my undergraduate degree.”.

As Luiz Neves, the institution's Educational Projects Coordinator, highlighted: "Education goes beyond the classroom, and an event like this one from Samsung, with Martha Gabriel's presence, is very significant for everyone.".
