ESEG hosts the CEO of Brasilprev to discuss leadership and career paths.

A ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, brings in its November edition of Lecture Series a guest who is a reference in leadership and management: Angela Assis, CEO of Brasilprev.

With over 30 years of experience and a career marked by achievements and challenges, Ângela is recognized as one of the most influential executives in the country. She has served on the boards of companies such as Cielo, Gerdau, and Brasilcap, and has a trajectory that inspires through the combination of determination, purpose, and strategic vision. These factors guided her professional rise until she became the first woman to hold the top position at Brasilprev.

A graduate in International Relations from the University of Brasília, with an MBA in Human Resources from FGV and a specialization in Strategic Leadership from Inepad/Unisinos, Ângela began her career at Banco do Brasil in 1992. Since then, she has built a solid track record in the areas of Retail, Wholesale, Cards and Internal Controls, in addition to leading teams and projects at BB Seguros and Brasilprev.

During the lecture, the executive will share insights on career paths and leadership, highlighting the challenges faced throughout her career and the skills she considers essential for those seeking professional growth. The meeting will be a valuable opportunity for ESEG students to broaden their understanding of the role of a leader and the impact of personal and professional development in a constantly transforming market.

For evening students, the activity will count as a regular class. For morning students, attendance will count towards complementary activity hours. After the lecture, classes will resume normally at the Paraíso Campus.
