On April 9th, Production Engineering students from ESEG (School of Engineering of the State of São Paulo) conducted a technical visit to the Ambev factory in Jaguariúna, São Paulo. The students were able to observe the production line, quality control processes, and logistics operations of the company. Furthermore, they learned about sustainability measures such as reducing water consumption and reusing it; decreasing energy use; and initiatives to mitigate the environmental impact of waste generation. One example from Ambev is the Guaraná Antarctica packaging, considered the first recycled PET 100% packaging in Brazil.

Ambev was born from the union between Cervejaria Brahma and Companhia Antarctica and is present today in 19 countries, with 30 beverage brands and 100 direct distribution centers in Brazil. The commitment to sustainability is part of the company's goals, so the visit represents an experience of technical and ethical knowledge for future engineers.
