ESEG is the first Brazilian college to implement the F1 in Schools project in Higher Education.

O F1 in Schools It is a global, multidisciplinary challenge supported by the Formula 1 sporting community and aims to put skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics into practice. 

ESEG is the second college in the world to implement this program in Higher Education – the first in Brazil – and the initial idea is to use it as a basis for developing the Product Design discipline, which involves creation, innovation, entrepreneurship, technical aspects of engineering design, and teamwork. 

Based on the Formula 1 championship format, F1 in Schools provides opportunities for students to engage in projects, analysis, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, marketing, design thinking, and sponsorship acquisition challenges.

Furthermore, there will be a presentation workshop held at the end of the Product Design course so that students can present their creations and participate in an internal competition. To develop the activities related to F1 in Schools, the teams formed in the course will have access to the Technological Innovation Laboratory (LITE) and all the support from the teachers to organize the test sessions and thus ensure that they are ready for the heats with the other participants.
