On November 6th and 7th, the ESEG College promoted the SESEG Trainee, an event aimed at students from all courses. The program included lectures and simulations of selection processes focused on trainees, as well as valuable tips for developing essential skills in the job market.
On the first night, the activity included the participation of Camila de Oliveira Claro, a representative from the employment company. Universia, She explained the differences between internships and traineeships. She highlighted that while internships offer a learning experience, traineeship programs focus on developing future leaders, with the possibility of assuming a leadership position within two years. Participants also had the opportunity to better understand the profile of companies offering these positions and the main characteristics sought in candidates.
For Lucas Giraldi, a 4th-semester Production Engineering student, events like this contribute to the personal and professional growth of students. “At Simula ESEG, we can interact with various companies, understand the market, and learn how to behave in interviews. ESEG has always welcomed me very well, even before I enrolled, and initiatives like this are a differentiator that allow us to think about our careers and professional future. As an ESEG student, I am certain that my professional future will be well-developed,” Lucas emphasizes.
On the second day, the Votorantim Cimentos The event featured a presentation led by Mariana Martz, with the participation of Erick Fuentes, specialists in talent attraction. During the presentation, students were immersed in the company's trainee selection process, with simulations of stages including interviews, group dynamics, and tests. The company also shared what is expected of a professional starting their career in a large group.
Simone Bortoletto, coordinator of Career Development Center From the ESEG Faculty and organizer of the event, the learning was complemented with practical tips on how to stand out in selection processes. Among the topics covered were the preparation of an attractive resume, the efficient use of LinkedIn, the phases of a selection process, and the structuring of answers in interviews.
