The Human Resources area plays a vital role in the success of organizations, acting as a link between employee development and the consolidation of a strong and efficient corporate culture. Given this, and especially in a constantly evolving environment, discussing current and emerging HR topics becomes essential so that professionals and companies are prepared to face future challenges.

Recognizing this importance, ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa, in partnership with Grupo Trhoca, hosted the São Paulo Congress on People Management, with the theme "Human Connections: Reinventing HR for an Era of Change". The event, which brought together around 500 people, provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and practices that are shaping the future of people management.

The event was opened by Isabela Cavalheiro, founder of the Trhoca Group (organizer of the congress), who gave a presentation about her career and the Group's brand, as well as illustrating the importance of the sector in all companies.

Throughout the day, more than 48 activities took place, including lectures, workshops, roundtables, and debates on a wide variety of topics, from classic issues such as employee engagement, benefits, and training, to current topics such as the role of women in the market, ageism, inclusion and diversity, neuroscience, and graphology.

Among the featured speakers, Professor Dimas Ferreira, Academic Director of ESEG, addressed the topic of "Leadership and Employee Engagement," where he offered valuable tips on organizational development, the relationship between management and employees, and solutions for analyzing situations of low performance. The professor also presented updated data and research on the employability and recruitment market.

Several students from all undergraduate courses at ESEG attended the event, which served not only as a learning experience for those who intend to pursue a career in the field, but also to understand how the market is viewed and shaped by various professionals. For Maycon Matuoka, a first-semester Business Administration student, actions like this one carried out by the Faculty bring visibility to the course, create networking opportunities, and help in career guidance, one of the advantages that the Etapa Group Faculty offers its students.

Professor Dimas also commented on the importance of the initiative: "This congress is essential for all these HR professionals who came, as it focuses on human resources and the relationship between people. For ESEG, it is a pleasure to host the event, as this is aligned with all the effort we make to support our students in employability and how they prepare for the job market," he concluded.
