Ao longo dos \u00faltimos meses, a ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa<\/b> esteve envolvida no Global Business Experience 2024<\/b>, um programa de interc\u00e2mbio internacional acad\u00eamico com a proposta de desenvolver compet\u00eancias interculturais, habilidades sociais e conhecimentos sobre neg\u00f3cios na perspectiva do pa\u00eds anfitri\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n

O projeto iniciou-se de forma on-line em 06 de mar\u00e7o com a aula inaugural e, em 13 de maio, a ESEG <\/b>recebeu os 55 estudantes e sete professores da China<\/b>, B\u00e9lgica<\/b>, Estados Unidos<\/b>, Pa\u00edses Baixos <\/b>e Brasil <\/b>para sediar as atividades presenciais.<\/p>\n

Ao longo da iniciativa, os estudantes foram organizados em grupos mistos e contaram com a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o dos docentes mentores de cada institui\u00e7\u00e3o. Desde mar\u00e7o, os grupos tiveram aulas, encontros e reuni\u00f5es on-line e presenciais para alinharem apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es e expectativas com foco no desafio de construir alternativas de neg\u00f3cios que dessem respostas aos problemas propostos pelas empresas parceiras: IEST Group<\/b>, Higimed<\/b>, Grupo Salus<\/b>, MIDEA <\/b>e M\u00e9rito Comercial<\/b>.<\/p>\n

As atividades foram propostas de maneira que os participantes desenvolvessem melhores no\u00e7\u00f5es sobre com\u00e9rcio eletr\u00f4nico, fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o, linhas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, vendas, gest\u00e3o e marketing. Depois de uma semana de conviv\u00eancia presencial na ESEG <\/b>e de imers\u00e3o dentro das empresas, os alunos se mostraram prontos para apresentar tudo o que desenvolveram. <\/p>\n

A etapa final do Global Business<\/b> ocorreu no s\u00e1bado, 18 de maio, com as apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es dos trabalhos desenvolvidos pelos alunos para docentes, representantes das empresas envolvidas e alunos convidados.<\/p>\n

Os grupos desenvolveram planos de projetos que envolveram, por exemplo, um aplicativo facilitado para agendamento de consultas em dentistas em rede, solu\u00e7\u00f5es para com\u00e9rcio virtual e a\u00e7\u00f5es de marketing e suporte a clientes. <\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s as apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es, os estudantes receberam certificados de excel\u00eancia no programa emitidos por cada uma das institui\u00e7\u00f5es envolvidas. O saldo final foi a obten\u00e7\u00e3o de ricas experi\u00eancias e a obten\u00e7\u00e3o de um reconhecimento completo emitido por diversas institui\u00e7\u00f5es da Europa, \u00c1sia e Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n

Para Guilherme Machado<\/b>, estudante do 4\u00ba semestre de Engenharia de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b> na ESEG<\/b>, o aprendizado adquirido durante o programa foi enriquecedor. \u201cO GBE <\/b>me proporcionou uma experi\u00eancia que levarei para a vida! Me trouxe novas amizades e muito conhecimento. Consegui aprimorar minha comunica\u00e7\u00e3o em ingl\u00eas e aprendi muito com os estudantes estrangeiros com quem tive contato. Com certeza participarei das pr\u00f3ximas edi\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n

\n

UMA EXPERI\u00caNCIA GLOBAL<\/b><\/p>\n<\/h3>\n

O Global Business Experience<\/b>, embora desenvolvido para estudantes, vai muito al\u00e9m do ensino formal. <\/p>\n

O evento proporcionou aos alunos uma viv\u00eancia ampla em culturas distintas. Os estudantes intercambistas tiveram a chance de visitar diversos lugares t\u00edpicos do Brasil, experimentar nossa culin\u00e1ria, conhecer a cidade de S\u00e3o Paulo e aprender sobre nossa cultura.<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 os alunos brasileiros puderam, a partir da conviv\u00eancia, entender mais sobre os pa\u00edses visitantes e ampliar a vis\u00e3o sobre o outro. <\/p>\n

\u201cN\u00f3s realmente gostamos de trabalhar com os estudantes da ESEG e das outras faculdades do mundo. Todos foram bastante colaborativos e nos mostraram muito de S\u00e3o Paulo,\u201d disse M\u00e9lanie Cloes<\/b>, estudante de Business Administration<\/i> da PXL University<\/b>, B\u00e9lgica<\/b>. <\/p>\n

Hanne Jaspers<\/b>, colega do mesmo curso , acrescentou: \u201cFoi um desafio em alguns momentos, por causa das diferen\u00e7as culturais, mas foi um projeto incr\u00edvel de participar. Obrigada pela oportunidade!\u201d.<\/p>\n

Essa \u00e9 exatamente a proposta de iniciativas internacionais: ampliar horizontes. Quando interc\u00e2mbios a estudo incluem lazer e cultura, possibilitam uma vis\u00e3o mais ampla da experi\u00eancia, o que contribui para que os participantes compreendam melhor pessoas diferentes e passem a ver o mundo sob uma nova perspectiva. E, claro, ainda levem em seu retorno o enriquecimento pessoal, com muita divers\u00e3o e amizades. <\/p>\n

\u201cFiquei muito feliz com a experi\u00eancia\u201d, comentou Henry No\u00ebl<\/b>, estudante da Zuyd University<\/b>, nos Pa\u00edses Baixos<\/b>. \u201cFoi legal aprender sobre neg\u00f3cios e nos desenvolver com o desafio, porque viemos a trabalho. Mas tamb\u00e9m foi \u00f3timo fazer amizades. Os brasileiros s\u00e3o incr\u00edveis. S\u00e9rio, uau! Eu amei tudo e amei a ESEG!\u201d.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

IMPACTO NO FUTURO<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/h3>\n

Experi\u00eancias internacionais podem ter uma grande import\u00e2ncia no desenvolvimento de carreira, mercado de trabalho e estudos. O fator mais chamativo do Global Business Experience <\/b>ser sediado pela ESEG <\/b>\u00e9 que permitiu aos alunos brasileiros vivenciar uma experi\u00eancia de interc\u00e2mbio sem os custos de sair do Brasil.<\/p>\n

Ao participar do programa, os alunos aprenderam valiosas li\u00e7\u00f5es, como lidar com pessoas de culturas diferentes das pr\u00f3prias, entender o lado do outro, desenvolver resili\u00eancia e encontrar maneiras de se comunicar quando existem barreiras lingu\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n

Michael Stoica<\/b>, professor da Washburn University<\/b>, nos EUA<\/b>, v\u00ea a import\u00e2ncia de projetos como o Global Business Experience<\/b> para os pr\u00f3prios alunos: \u201cEstudantes dos EUA n\u00e3o costumam viajar para outros pa\u00edses. Ent\u00e3o, essa foi uma oportunidade deles vivenciarem uma experi\u00eancia internacional. Esse encontro com brasileiros, chineses e europeus, assim como o trabalho em conjunto e todos esses relacionamentos, foi muito importante para eles\u201d.<\/p>\n

Essas habilidades s\u00e3o mais claramente observadas na procura de empresas internacionais ou nativas dos pa\u00edses participantes. Alunos que passaram meses trabalhando com pessoas da cultura chinesa, por exemplo, t\u00eam mais chances de se adaptar a uma empresa da China<\/b>, pois entendem melhor os modos de trabalho do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Por\u00e9m, as habilidades desenvolvidas s\u00e3o amplamente procuradas no mercado de trabalho. Afinal, \u00e9 fundamental a qualquer profissional saber se adaptar \u00e0 cultura da empresa, entender os colegas, saber se comunicar de diversas maneiras etc.<\/p>\n

Para Vanessa Martins<\/b>, professora e gerente do ESEG International<\/b>, \u00e9 recompensador ver o desenvolvimento dos estudantes ao participarem de iniciativas como essa. \u201c\u00c9 muito gratificante ver nossos alunos se desenvolvendo nesse n\u00edvel e criando parcerias que ficar\u00e3o para a vida. Global Business Experience ends with important impact on students<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

The event reunited students from Belgium, the Netherlands, USA, China and Brazil in a three-months project at ESEG<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/h4>\n

During the last months, ESEG – Faculdade do Grupo Etapa was involved on Global Business Experience 2024, an academical exchange program with the goal of developing intercultural competencies, social skills and business knowledge on the perspective of the host country.<\/p>\n

The project began on-line on March, 6th, with an inaugural class. On May, 13th, ESEG welcomed 55 exchange students and seven teachers from China, Belgium, the Netherlands, USA and Brazil to start the in place activities.<\/p>\n

During the initiative, the students were organized in mixed groups and were under the guidance from the teachers of each institution. Since March, the group had classes and on-line meetings to align presentations and their expectation while focusing on the challenge of building business alternatives as an answer to the problem proposed by fellow companies: IEST Group, Higimed, Grupo Salus, MIDEA and M\u00e9rito Comercial.<\/p>\n

The activities were proposed in a way that the participants could develop better notions on e-commerce, manufacturing industry, assembly lines, sales, management and marketing. After a week of in-person familiarization at ESEG and immersion on each company, the students were ready to present all that they came up with.<\/p>\n

Global Business\u2019s last steps occurred on Saturday, May 18th, with presentations on the work developed by students to their teachers, representatives faces of the companies and their fellows.<\/p>\n

Then, time to go to action! The group developed project plans that included, for example, an app to facilitate booking and following, in a net, dentists appointments; solutions to e-commerce, marketing actions and even costumer\u2019s service.<\/p>\n

After their presentation, students received Certificates of Excellence from each institution. The final result was the rich experiences and a full recognition from many education institutions on Europe, Asia and America.<\/p>\n

To Guilherme Machado, student of the 4th period of Computer Engineering at ESEG, what he learned during the program was enriching: \u201cGBE offered me a life-changing experience! It brought me new friendships and a lot of knowledge. I got to improve my communication in other languages and learned a lot with the foreigner students I talked to. I will, for sure, participate on the next editions,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A GLOBAL EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n

Even if Global Business Experience was developed as an academic activity, it goes way beyond tradition school.<\/p>\n

The event proposed to the student a wide exposure and understanding of different cultures. Foreigner and exchange students had the chance to visit a lot of typical places in Brazil, got to try Brazilian cuisine, discovered the city of S\u00e3o Paulo and learned about our culture.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Brazilian students got to understand more about the visitors and resonate their vision of other and cultural variations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe really enjoyed working with ESEG\u2019s students and all other Universities from around the world. They were all very collaborative and showed us around,\u201d said M\u00e9lanie Cloes, major in Business Administration at PXL University, Belgium.<\/p>\n

Hanne Jasper, her classmate, added: \u201cIt was a real challenge sometimes, due to our cultural differences, but it was an amazing project to be in. Thank you so much for the opportunity!\u201d<\/p>\n

And that is exactly the proposal of international initiatives: broaden horizons. When academical exchanges include culture and fun, usually there are better visions and experiences, which contributes to a stronger comprehension of different people and a chance to see the world from a new perspective. Of course, that also includes personal enrichment, lots of fun and friendships.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really happy with my experience,\u201d commented Henry No\u00ebl, student of Zuyd University, from the Netherlands. \u201cIt was nice learning about business and developing ourselves with the challenge, because we are here to work. But it was also great making friends. Brazilian people are amazing, seriously. I loved everything, and I loved ESEG!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

FUTURE IMPACT<\/p>\n

<\/b><\/h3>\n

International experiences can have a great impact on the development of career, studies and job market persona. The most interesting thing of ESEG is allowing Brazilian students to live an exchange experience without the cost of travelling abroad.<\/p>\n

By joining the program, students learned important lessons such as dealing with people from different cultures, getting to know each other\u2019s sides, develop resilience and finding new and creative ways to communicate when there are linguist barriers. <\/p>\n

Michael Stoica, professor of Washburn University in US, sees how important projects as Global Business Experience are to their students: \u201cPeople from the USA don\u2019t usually travel abroad [while studying]. So, that\u2019s a way of them to live an international experience. This meeting with the Brazilian, Chinese and European, as well as the team work and all those other relationship, that was very impactful on them.\u201d<\/p>\n

These skills and abilities are clearly observed on job offering on international enterprises, or even business located on the nations that joined GBE. Students that worked during months working with Chinese people, for example, have greater chances of adapting to a company in China, because they have a better understanding of their work culture.<\/p>\n

All in all, these abilities are greatly valued on job market in general. We can say it\u2019s mandatory, for any worker, to know how to adapt to the company cultures, understand their colleagues, know how to communicate in more than one way, etc.<\/p>\n

To Vanessa Martins, our professor and manager of International ESEG, it is fulfilling to see the development of student after participating in projects like GBE. \u201cIt\u2019s gratifying to see our students developing at this level and creating partnerships that will stay for their whole lives.
