{"id":13903,"date":"2026-05-06T16:25:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T19:25:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/noticia\/alunos-sao-reconhecidos-em-premiacao-do-hackathon-eseg-sbk\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T14:35:31","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T17:35:31","slug":"students-are-recognized-at-the-eseg-sbk-hackathon-awards-ceremony","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/en\/noticia\/alunos-sao-reconhecidos-em-premiacao-do-hackathon-eseg-sbk\/","title":{"rendered":"Students are recognized at the ESEG-SBK Hackathon awards ceremony."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">On May 4th, ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group, held the awards ceremony for... <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ESEG-SBK Hackathon: Lawtech Challenge<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">, in partnership with SBK, one of the largest companies providing intelligent solutions for Legal, HR and Finance.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">The initiative, which is part of the program <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/en\/home\/eseg-tech-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ESEG Tech &amp; Business<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">, brought together groups of students from different courses in a competition with the aim of developing innovative solutions in legal process automation, using real APIs provided by SBK, in situations that simulate day-to-day professional challenges.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Professor of Computer Engineering and Production Engineering, and lead instructor of the ESEG Hackathon, Rodrigo Assirati followed the competition and the students&#039; development and was invited to moderate the awards ceremony. Satisfied with the students&#039; performance, the professor highlighted the two sides of the partnership: while the participants develop themselves based on real-world problems, the companies have the opportunity to observe the students in action.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u201cHackathons are always an opportunity to engage with real-world challenges, creating dynamics such as testing new tools, validating ideas, and thinking under pressure. For partner companies, it&#039;s also a great chance to see the students&#039; capabilities beyond theory, especially in challenging situations,\u201d explains Assirati.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">With a focus on developing a technological solution aimed at automating legal processes, the platforms created by the students used the APIs provided by SBK to transform raw data into interactive and predictive insights, automating complex analyses and generating strategic value for the sector.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">The solutions should feature a robust backend, an efficient data pipeline, a user-friendly visualization interface, and a chat or intelligent agent capable of integrating with Lum.IA, SBK&#039;s personalized legal advisor, enhancing user interaction with the developed data and functionalities.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Bernardo Franco, CEO of SBK, stated that he was satisfied with the partnership, not only because of the award, but also because of the results already generated: \u201cOur contact with Faculdade ESEG was a very positive experience. We intend to continue this partnership, after all, today we already have employees who were or still are students of the institution.\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">During the evaluation, criteria such as platform usability, creativity in data use, added value to the business, practical applicability, and technical level of development were considered.
