A <\/span>ESEG College, part of the Etapa Group<\/span>, presents the <\/span>Buddy Program<\/span>, a project that facilitates closer ties and cultural exchange between ESEG students and foreign students visiting the university during an exchange program.<\/span><\/p>\n

By becoming university mentors, ESEG students are expected to stay with the international students throughout their activities both inside and outside the Faculty, serving as a conversation and integration partner. <\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>The first activity of these \u201cbuddies\u201d will take place between May 12th and 27th, during the Global Honors Program Brazil 2025, a project in partnership with... <\/span>Roberts Wesleyan University (RWU)<\/span>, From New York (USA). During this period, the American students will participate in a series of activities inside and outside the ESEG College, aiming to learn more about our country's culture. <\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, ESEG students who choose to participate in the Buddy Program will be required to engage in the activities outlined in the program and will have the hours validated as complementary activities, in addition to having the opportunity to practice the English language and enrich their cultural repertoire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those interested in participating must register for the Buddy Program by May 5th. To do so, simply send an email to <\/span>internacional@eseg.edu.br<\/span><\/a> with the subject "I want to be a buddy".<\/span>

<\/span>What is a <\/span>buddy<\/span> And what is its function?<\/span><\/p>\n

One <\/span>buddy <\/span>A university mentor is a mentor for an international student. They act as a close friend, supporting the exchange student in their daily activities, providing opportunities for international exchange and English practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students who want to be <\/span>buddies <\/span>They will be able to participate in Portuguese classes with American students, serving as "conversation partners." An excellent language exchange opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, buddies can assist international students in thematic or cultural classes, as well as on field trips.<\/span>
