A ESEG \u2013 Etapa Group College<\/a><\/b> received, in partnership with B3 \u2013 Brazilian Stock Exchange<\/a><\/b>, an event of 11th National Financial Education Week<\/b>. On Friday, May 17th, the representatives of B3 Bruna Marcelino<\/b>, Educational Projects consultant, and Fernando Rodrigues da Silva<\/b>, educational analyst and professor at B3 Education<\/b>, They presented the lecture "Understanding the Economy and the IBOVESPA" to students of Business Administration, Law, Economics, and Engineering.<\/p>\n

With an educational purpose, the event covered the basics of the history of the stock market in Brazil and presented concepts of... IBOVESPA <\/b>(average performance index of stock prices traded on B3<\/b>) and produced practical examples of how the IBOVESPA <\/b>It can be affected by various events in several areas.<\/p>\n

One of the tools of <\/a>B3 Education<\/a> <\/b>It's the card game. Your IBOVESPA B3<\/b>. It features various categories, such as Agriculture, Tourism, Industry, and Technology. Each card presents a hypothetical situation \u2013 such as "increased government funding for cultural projects" or "inauguration of a new president." Players then discuss how this could affect the IBOVESPA, primarily whether it will rise or fall.<\/p>\n

A National Financial Education Week<\/b> It's a project of B3 <\/b>To introduce micro and macro economics to citizens, teach them how to invest, understand returns, and make more informed decisions about economics and money.<\/p>\n

\u201c"The importance of financial education lies in enabling us to bring to people what we call financial well-being," he explained. Fernando<\/b>. "It's about people being able to have a more peaceful life, dedicating themselves to what they enjoy doing without so many worries and difficulties, from the point of view of personal and family finances.
