The event took place in the auditorium of the Ana Rosa Campus and was attended by students, professors, and enthusiasts of the subject.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">To welcome those present, Professor Jos\u00e9 Guilherme Campos, coordinator of the Administration course, greeted the audience and reinforced the importance of the topic in the corporate world, in addition to highlighting the important work being developed by the Career Development Center, the employability area of ESEG. \u201cWe relentlessly pursue employability and prepare our students for the challenges of today, whether national or international. Therefore, tonight we bring a topic of essential discussion for those who wish to be involved in the current and future market: the use of Artificial Intelligence, better known as AI, which has been growing consistently in business,\u201d explained the professor.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">O primeiro palestrante da noite foi Marcel Saraiva, gerente nacional de Vendas Enterprise&nbsp; da NVIDIA, uma das l\u00edderes mundiais na \u00e1rea de tecnologia e que est\u00e1 entre as 10 empresas de maior valor de mercado no mundo. O executivo destacou o crescente interesse de nomes como Elon Musk e Mark Zuckerberg na aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de GPUs (Unidade de Processamento Gr\u00e1fico) da NVIDIA para projetos de IA para suas redes sociais, respectivamente, X (antigo Twitter) e Facebook.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">Saraiva also warned about the ethical challenges related to the development of AI, citing cases such as the recent scandal involving the illustration of Frankenstein, which was disqualified from the Jabuti Prize due to the use of an image creation tool.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">J\u00e1 a segunda palestra ficou por conta de Sandor Caetano, Chief Data Officer na PicPay e co-autor do livro \u201cO cientista e o executivo\u201d. Com uma vasta experi\u00eancia na \u00e1rea de Intelig\u00eancia Artificial, passando por empresas como&nbsp; iFood e Nubank, Sandor abordou os benef\u00edcios pr\u00e1ticos da IA no ambiente corporativo, enfatizando sua capacidade de otimizar processos e liberar recursos humanos para atividades mais estrat\u00e9gicas.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">Both speakers presented a variety of examples of AI use, ranging from positive applications, such as automating processes in restaurants using kiosks, to concerning issues, such as the potential for malicious programming and leaks of sensitive data.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">For Gabriel Gutierrez, a Computer Engineering student at ESEG, the lectures were an enriching opportunity to learn from experts on the subject and prominent figures in the market.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font color=\"#636363\" face=\"Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.6667px\">\u201cAlthough it\u2019s not directly my field, I enjoy learning more about AI. I think it\u2019s great that the Faculty is promoting a class with such prominent figures in the market.
