The first day of the action was led by the coordinator of <b><a href=\"http:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/en\/home\/centro-de-desenvolvimento-de-carreiras\/\" target=\"_blank\">Career Development Center<\/a><\/b>, Simone Bortoletto, who provided guidance to participants on the selection processes in companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">During the event, participants were able to learn more about the selection and recruitment process, the stages candidates go through, and some of the evaluator&#039;s perspective on interview behavior. Simone also highlighted the websites most used by companies when searching for new employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Furthermore, the students received tips on how to prepare a good resume and were able to understand what relevant information should be included in the document, as well as information to be avoided. Another important insight was regarding behavior in interviews and group dynamics, where the coordinator showed, through a video, which attitudes are frowned upon by recruiters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">One of the guidelines given at the event concerned LinkedIn profiles. Simone shared some tips with the students, including: being active on the platform, posting certifications, participation in events or initiatives, as well as following companies and professionals working in areas of their interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">The students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the topic by completing a behavioral assessment form, and were also given a &quot;homework&quot; assignment: recording a presentation video. All of this was so they could receive individual feedback, to be scheduled later, with specific tips and guidance based on each student&#039;s test results.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Finally, one of the highlights of the first day of Simula ESEG was the question and answer session, in which participants had their questions answered regarding appropriate attire, accessories, makeup, and other issues related to interview preparation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">On the second day of Simula ESEG, students attended a lecture on Personal Marketing, given by Juliana Silva, a recruitment and selection specialist from Companhia de Est\u00e1gios. The professional emphasized the importance of self-knowledge and the need to understand which areas resonate most with each student before starting the internship search. &quot;During this internship search, it&#039;s important to research areas of interest, talk to professionals working in those fields, and delve into the companies you want to work for to understand if they fit your profile,&quot; she commented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Juliana also addressed the importance of knowledge in communication and public speaking so that students know how to communicate clearly and objectively in their presentations and interviews. \u201cDuring an interview, whether with a recruiter or a manager, it\u2019s necessary to convey confidence in your presentation and in what you want. Working on self-confidence is fundamental, as is always being truthful in the information you convey,\u201d the specialist emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">At the end of the lecture, the students were able to clarify their doubts, in addition to participating in a practical activity for the development of their self-knowledge, conducted by Simone Bortoletto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><font color=\"#311873\">Direct contact with the job market<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">On the 8th, it happened... <\/span><b>Career Fair<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><b><\/b>, This initiative aimed to bring representatives from recruiting companies to students to better understand their culture, ask questions, and learn about available opportunities. Students were able to visit the booths of companies such as&nbsp;<\/span><span>99jobs, CIEE \u2013 Centro de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Empresa-Escola (Center for Company-School Integration), Companhia de Est\u00e1gios (Internship Company), SaluS Participa\u00e7\u00f5es (SaluS Holdings), Locaweb, Nube \u2013 N\u00facleo Brasileiro de Est\u00e1gios (Brazilian Internship Center), Scanntech Brasil (Scanntech Brazil), Stefanini Brasil (Stefanini Brazil), Via Paju\u00e7ara<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">In addition to visiting the booths, participants attended the lectures &quot;How Artificial Intelligence can contribute to building your professional profile,&quot; with Ariane Garetti, representative of the company Stefanini; and &quot;Elevating professional performance through effective communication,&quot; with Rodrigo Ortiz, Human Resources manager at Promon Engenharia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Throughout the afternoon, there was also a roundtable discussion entitled &quot;Add a differential to your development: learn how analytical skills can boost your career,&quot; led by Professor Vanessa Martins, manager of ESEG International and Student Support, and with the participation of alumnus Caio Correa, Market Intelligence analyst at Scanntech; Rafael G\u00f3is, manager of the Training and Development area at Scanntech; and Ana Dallago, head of Cash &amp; Carry at Colgate-Palmolive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">For Simone Bortoletto, the initiative was an excellent opportunity for students to learn how to stand out in selection processes, while also allowing them to practice networking, have direct contact with large companies, and gain direct access to internship opportunities. \u201cIt was truly incredible to see the engagement and participation of our students in the activities, which gave them a real market perspective.
