{"id":12989,"date":"2026-05-12T02:48:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T05:48:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/noticia\/professores-e-discentes-da-eseg-apresentam-artigos-em-congresso-da-universidade-de-coimbra\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T14:30:23","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T17:30:23","slug":"professors-and-students-from-eseg-present-papers-at-a-congress-at-the-university-of-coimbra","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/en\/noticia\/professores-e-discentes-da-eseg-apresentam-artigos-em-congresso-da-universidade-de-coimbra\/","title":{"rendered":"Professors and students from ESEG present papers at a congress at the University of Coimbra."},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">Students and professors of Law from ESEG \u2013 Faculdade do Grupo Etapa attended the VIII International Congress on Human Rights of Coimbra: a transdisciplinary vision, held between October 10 and 12 in Portugal, with presentations of relevant articles and academic works produced in the academic environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-weight:normal\" id=\"docs-internal-guid-2de42f0d-7fff-55c4-2d86-8631d760b242\"><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">The meeting, promoted by Ius Gentium Conimbrigae, a Human Rights center based at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, aims to unite the academic community to participate in debates on various social and legal issues related to Human Rights. The event also seeks to promote the development of scientific ideas and theories from a multidisciplinary and critical perspective of the social and legal sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-weight:normal\"><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">Participation in the Congress is possible through the application and approval of papers, articles, and research projects in the field. In this context, it is with great satisfaction that we highlight that students Aya Sugiya and Giuliana Ricci Graton, both in their 6th semester, and Marcos Marques Barbosa Sampaio Magalh\u00e3es, from the 3rd semester of the Law course, were selected to present their research at one of the most renowned institutions in Europe. In addition to the students, Professor Dr. Luciana Chiavoloni de Andrade Jardim and Professor Me. <\/span><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">Amanda Scalisse Silva<\/span><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\"> They also presented their papers at the Congress.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-weight:normal\"><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">For Marcos Magalh\u00e3es, the experience of participating in an international congress was fantastic. \u201cHaving the opportunity to meet professionals, researchers, professors, and students from various parts of the world allowed me to expand my vision of the academic side of Law, as well as make new contacts, listen to and discuss new themes and problems. In addition, as an undergraduate student, I was able to produce, present, and have the possibility of publishing an academic work at an international level,\u201d the student commented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-weight:normal\"><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">In an outstanding manner, ESEG distinguished itself at the Congress by combining project presentations with significant faculty participation. Dr. Luciana, along with Professor Giovanni Paolo Pilosio, expertly presided over the Symposium entitled &quot;Labor Relations and Sustainability: Challenges and Perspectives,&quot; making a remarkable contribution to the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-weight:normal\"><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">\u201c&quot;I can&#039;t help but mention how positive the participation of the teachers was.&quot;<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">ESEG&#039;s undergraduate program, from preparation and the formation of research groups to encouraging...<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#222222;background-color:#ffffff;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap\">&quot;The students&#039; participation, as well as assisting them in presenting their work, is a very important advantage.
