<\/p>\nBasically, there are only two mandatory items for candidates on the day of the ENEM exam: an identification document and a pen.<\/p>\n
All students taking the exam must present an official photo ID, such as an identity card, driver's license, work permit, military service card, or passport. Student IDs and club membership cards will not be accepted as official documents. Copies of documents, even certified copies, are also not accepted.<\/p>\n
We also emphasize that if the candidate has lost their document or had it stolen, they must present a police report on the day of the exam.<\/p>\n

During the exam, only one black ink ballpoint pen, made of transparent material, will be allowed. To avoid any unforeseen circumstances, always bring two black pens; that way, if one fails, you'll have a spare.<\/p>\n
Pens of any other color will not be accepted, as they prevent the optical reading of the answer sheet.<\/p>\n

To help students locate the test site and the room where the exams will be administered, we suggest printing out the ENEM Registration Card. It is not mandatory, but it helps to access the information.<\/p>\n
If you need proof of attendance at the exam to present at work, the candidate must bring a pre-printed attendance certificate and have it signed by the coordinator (who will be in your ENEM room) on the day of the exam. The form is available on the participant's page.<\/p>\n
Snacks are allowed by INEP, but it's important to pay attention to the permitted items and how to store them.<\/p>\n
All processed foods such as chips, cookies, chocolates, cereal bars, and yogurts will only be allowed if they are sealed, either in their original packaging or in a transparent container. Everything is checked and inspected before the student enters the room to begin the exam.<\/p>\n
Avoid heavy meals before the exam, as they can make you sleepy and cause discomfort, but it's important to eat properly. Overeating, as well as being hungry, can hinder your performance.<\/p>\n
Bring a small, clear water bottle to avoid having to ask the inspector to let you go to the water fountain. Staying hydrated helps with concentration.<\/p>\n

As we mentioned at the beginning of the text, you are not allowed to bring any material other than a black pen to the ENEM exam. Therefore, pens of other colors, pencils, mechanical pencils, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, printed materials, books, and notes are prohibited.<\/p>\n
\u201c"Does this mean I'll have to do my calculations in the question booklet with a pen? And what if I make a mistake and need to erase it?"\u201d<\/p>\n
Don't worry about the Question Booklet, you can scribble in it as much as you like! What counts towards your grade and score is the Answer Booklet (the one where you fill in the little circles).<\/p>\n
Electronic devices such as cell phones and smartwatches will not be allowed during the exam. You may bring them, but they must be turned off and placed in a sealed package, which will be provided only after the exam.<\/p>\n
Important! If your cell phone or electronic device rings, vibrates, or makes any sound, your test will be invalidated!<\/p>\n
On the day of the exam, traffic often increases significantly near the testing locations, and some streets are usually blocked. Therefore, it's important to carefully assess how long it takes you to get from home to your testing location and plan to arrive early. Remember that you need to get to the testing location, enter the building, and find your classroom before the class starts. Don't make the mistake of arriving late!<\/p>\n
The gates close promptly at 1 PM (Brasilia time). As we will not have daylight saving time this year, there may be a variation in the time depending on the location of your exam.<\/p>\n

The exam will be split into two days in 2019, as follows:<\/p>\n
First day: 03\/11\/2019, the tests for languages, codes and their technologies, essay writing, and human sciences and their technologies will be administered.<\/b><\/p>\n
